1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / boards of canada t-shirt on: February 12, 2007 06:59:28 PM
As long as I cannot find freezer paper in spain I thought that would be a good idea try to do a stencil with the plastic film my mum used to cover my schoolbooks with, and it worked great!

I turned a plain t-shirt into this

It was a present for a friend and he said he loved it!

3  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / baking powder vs. active yeast on: December 11, 2006 05:02:24 PM

what's the difference between baking powder and active dry yeast?

I've tried twice to make these rolls

but failed terribly

the recipe calls for 5 active dry yeast teaspoons but I couldn't find it so i substituted it for 5 teaspoons of active fresh yeast but the rolls came out very hard and raw

as long as I cannot find active dry yeast do you guys think I could substitute it for baking powder?

help me please!
4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / soap - a cold process question on: November 21, 2006 11:31:56 AM

I'm going to make some soap using the cold process, (the saponification one) and I want to put some honey and cocoa in it.

I have read that you have to add the coluring at the very beggining and the scents when the mixture is at the "trace" time.

so my question is, when should I add the honey and/or the cocoa??

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / a case for my casio pt-10 on: September 29, 2006 01:21:11 PM
Oh! I came to parent's and found my old old casio pt-10 and it sounds GREAT!

I've made a case to carry it using a piece of fabric in wich I stencilled a melodica,

I putted foam in the inside to protect it.

Cheesy it's quite simple but... do you like it?

I'm having my "first" wedding this summer. I want to wear this shirt:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/182982083/

and I want to make myself a skirt but I cannot figure out which model or colour. I want an original thing and I definitely don't want it to be black or white.

what do you think?

and shoes?
and purse?

10  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / spanish cod omelet on: July 05, 2006 07:13:49 PM
I made my best omelet ever today

take a pan, add olive oil, fry some sliced potatoes until soft then put the potatoes into some beated eggs.
then fry some chopped onions and garlic, and when gold add some dry cod and Parsley.
add this to the potatoes and eggs and put it all into a pan fry it and you'll have the best tortilla de patatas!
