111  dreads - for a hair fashion show in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by reenreen on: May 31, 2007 06:46:31 AM
Ok so i dont know what you'd call them. They aren't exactly extensions and they are not exactly dreads but whatever they are, i literally got the $1000.00 hair do for a hair modelling show.

It was crazy heavy and so long that i had to make an effort not to sit on it. I also had some random people touching "my hair" without asking which was a little creepy, but here are the pics

this is my friend(left) and I:

112  (not 4 hybercon)My first crochet hook roll-thanks for the answers in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by reenreen on: May 28, 2007 09:15:28 PM
I'm making a crochet hook roll for my swap partner but i have never croched in my life. What are typical hook dimensions so i can make the roll and the pockets the appropriate size?

Thanks in advance

Thanks so much for your help. This is what i ended up with...Hope i got it right cos it's already on it's way to the owner.

I like how i decorated the calico...next adventure with it--> purse!

113  is it good? sellable? in Get Product and Website Opinions by reenreen on: May 28, 2007 01:02:27 AM
60cm by 90cm

This is an oil painting i did when i was 15. It's my first and last. All subsiquent acrylic/watercolours have been by request so they are out in the world somewhere... This one has just been sitting in the garage, so i thought i'd sell it. It is good enough to be sold? and if so, how much for?

114  Re: Newbies Only Swap Round 4 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by reenreen on: May 27, 2007 10:41:51 PM
Yay! i recieved this morning. My boyfried woke up paranoid that there was a noise at the front door. Unfortunately we were running late to uni. When i ran out the door, there was a bruised box waiting for me! I was so excited i decided to take it with me despite not having space in my bag. Got awesome stuff and my friends were jealous.

*runs off to post pics*

Excuse the pics. I look a little demented in them either cos im tired or for effect
Bag, felt flower pin and lim balm:

Felt tooth pin!

I got pretty pegs to optimise space in my small room and hang things up:

Yay! i love it all! No more excuse to be smelly

117  (NEW-pics!)sushi costume? in Halloween Costumes by reenreen on: May 09, 2007 02:26:31 AM
It's languages day at my sisters school and she has decided to dress up as sushi. I figured a california roll was the best way to go. That way i can just cover her in green material with strips of celophane coming off it (seaweed) and then make her a hat or something that looks like a prawn tail and a neck frill that looks like rice. Anyone got any ideas cos this is sounding quite time and effort consuming

My sister ended up going as a geisha girl but thought you guys might like to see her friend the sushi roll:
