1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: need help with iron on interfacing on: September 24, 2008 09:24:32 AM
Ummm... to me, that just looks like burlap, not interfacing. Any interfacing I have used is white, and shiny on the side that fuses to the fabric  Embarrassed
2  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / [ACCEPTED] Give Halloween costumes its own board? on: September 23, 2008 02:27:01 PM
Is there any way to get the Halloween section of Occasions/Holidays divided into two boards? Ideally, Costumes or Crafts. I want to view halloween crafts but there are sooooooo many costume posts to sort through.

I love it, especially the flannel. Where did you find it? That's the cutest stuff ever!

Yes, I put some iron on interfacing. I say it's almost impossible without it!

Yeah, you just need 2 yards of binding. I used less since I changed the neck strap. It's actually a pretty easy pattern. I have plans for a few more, expecially since my sister saw it once I gave it to my mom.  Wink

I love the organic bamboo top. It looks so comfortable.
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / my emmeline apron! on: May 23, 2008 08:53:24 AM
I finally made an Emmeline apron and I'm so proud of it! I have loved the design since I first saw it and finally broke down and bought the pattern. It took about 3 hours... I made my own binding but didn't hand sew. I added D rings to it instead of having it tie around the neck, I find these easier to use when cooking.
It's for my mom's birthday. I want to keep it! I better get started on my own...
Comments would be greatly appreciated :-)

Full view on Jack Sparrow, I don't have a dress dummy :-)

Me wearing it... too impatient to do my hair or take off my hoodie for pictures...

Close up of the patterns. I used a muslin for the contrast.
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies / Princess Onesie! on: May 07, 2008 12:56:47 PM
So, I've been trying to come up with some cute presents for my friends and this is my first attempt...

and up close and un-ironed ;-)

The crown ended up all uneven. I need to get a wash-out marker...

10  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Help! Wrapper problems! on: August 07, 2007 09:19:31 PM
Ok, I took bushbaby's image & made a wrapper on the template I used for a baby shower I hosted a couple of months ago. They'll print one to a page, do not select "fit to page" when you print.  The "Married in Las Vegas" part will go right over the front of the Hershey bar. The blank area at the top goes on the back & it'll show, use it add your wedding info, like names & when you were married.. or I can do it for you.

I love it! Thanks so much. I have so many choices now  Grin
