Great job. The painting is awesome. This style reminds me of the way old posters were painted. I have a question. Why did you choose to do it in black and white only? I think it would be a great idea if you did another painting with that style but in full colour or b&w with a hint of colour. Just a thought.
12  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My New Coat. Featuring Tweed, a Peter Pan Collar, a Pleat, and much more.... on: July 30, 2007 09:14:32 PM
The coat is so Beautiful! I'm dreaming of the day I'll be able to actually make myself a coat. I love that your accessories match the colours in the trench. The white shoes look so great and the yellow of the bag brightens things up. But the best part is the pinkish colour in the coat plays so well with your hair.

The blue lining is very unexpected and refreshing. Cheesy
13  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Cute Creatures Beach Bag on: July 28, 2007 12:12:26 PM
I made this for my partner in the Japanese Street Fashion Swap. It's the first tote I've made. I have left over material and have decided to make one for myself as well and maybe even try to make and sell 2 more. It's got different pictures from either side. The lining is white cotton and there's a pocket on the inside made from the part with the colourful flowers at the bottom of the picture.

14  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Lolita Skirt on: July 28, 2007 12:04:33 PM
I've noticed that some craftsters post projects from the organized swaps in the appropriate board for the item. So I decided to post a skirt I made for Lolitaneko in the Japanese Street Fashion Swap. It was based on THIS skirt. My mom and I made it together and we argued the whole time (she made me rip and resew so many seams  Roll Eyes ) But in the end it turned out pretty well. I did not sew the apron-y part onto the petticoat, so she can make another herself if she wished to and she could change them according to her mood.

Such an awesome bag. I love the colour combination and the striped pocket is totally cute. The photo with the girl is so cool, with that effect it looks like a picture from an old magazine. Awesome!!  Cheesy

Great job!! The dress is gorgeous. I love the colour of the bottom part and the white belt looks awesome, it just makes everything complete. Is the belt sewed onto the dress?

Lolitaneko received today and I have pics of what I sent her and I really want to post them already. I'm sooo happy that she finally received. So anyways, here's what I sent to Lolitaneko.

- A Lolita skirt inspired by a skirt from her wist that you can see HERE
- A big tote/beach bag.
- I saw a wallet in a store and thought she would like it.
- RIBBONS!!!  Cheesy
- And a CD with all sorts of Japanese stuff. FRUiTS issues, Manga, Origami schemes, but most importantly... the movie KAMIKAZE GIRLS.  Cheesy

The Tote/Beach Bag ( it's different from each side):

The Extras:

PS: I received a wonderful parcel from Lolitaneko a long time ago, and I promise to post pics tomorrow. Sorry. Embarrassed

omg, those are so cute.  Cheesy I love "Head in the Clouds". Also, I'm jealous of your writing style. You write so pretty. I've always had poor penmanship.  Sad lol

I like the JazzMan drawing. Is it a street musician? I love street musicians. Is that a chair in the drawing with the skeleton? I'm sorry if I sound stupid, but could you expand on the meaning behind the drawing with the skeleton? It's just that reading the title I'm thinking you have some sort of deeper meaning. idk.  Embarrassed

Sorry for all the questions.  Embarrassed
