This is a FO I just recently finished and my first felting project.  This was loosely based on Deneen's  "Marvelous" Filled Mini Tote bag found at http://deneens.blogspot.com/2005/09/marvelous-fulled-mini-tote-bag.htmland I used this chart for my skull found here http://www.helloyarn.com/miniskulltote.htm

My hubby and I are finally going to be getting our own place. I am thinking of making a couple of these to celebrate. Grin
Congrats on your own place!! These make great homewarming presents even if you are making them for yourself Grin

Great job on this!  I really like the colour combo.  I'm thinking about trying this pattern too, but I don't use potholders so it would seem like a waste of effort.

Did you see the post of the person who turned this into a purse??  I think I might try this too.

I've never tried this technique before either.  Was it difficult?

I have dreams of completing every pattern in the book too. Tee hee.

I saw that purse and thought someone beat me to it!  I was thinking about doing that as well.  Except mine would be a man purse, I was think of a messenger bag or something.

As for the technique, it's so simple you hold the yarn that you are currently not using crochet over it on the wrong side.  I haven't perfected it yet, but I am making a few more of these for friends that I'll have it looking really good in a couple more tries.

Hi I'm new to here, but I'm definitely not new to crochet.  I was sooo happy when The Happy Hooker came out.  I <3 it, one of these days I will manage to crochet every pattern in this ab. fab book.  This is the first time that I have used this technique before so without further adieu here is my FO
