11  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Suggestions for hiding fireplace from 2 yr. old on: July 08, 2006 01:30:35 PM
We have this fireplace. Because he knows that I don't want him to play with it, it is his favorite thing to play with. So rather than ride his butt constantly to keep him out of it, I want to find a creative way to hide it or at least prevent him from accessing it. I want it to look nice as well. I don't have an issue with him sitting in front of it like he is in the picture (what a ham!), but he has graduated to throwing balls in there and then opening the screen doors and going in after them Shocked Any ideas?Huh

12  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Help with Reupholstering Sofa on: July 08, 2006 01:25:53 PM
I have two black leather couches. I love them but the kids do too. They, along with the dogs have taken their toll on them. I want to reupholster them in this awesome antique 1920's fire dept. fabric I found. But the cushions are making me leary. They are solid on the bottom and side, but poofy on top. How do I get the fabric to fit snugly? Any suggestions are appreciated....thanks! I apologize for the poor quality pic Smiley

13  California / California: North / Lake Tahoe/Carson City Craft Shopping on: July 08, 2006 12:04:09 AM
My dh and I are going on vacation to Lake Tahoe in Sept. Whenever we go up there I take a day trip to Carson City for craft supplies, mostly fabric. I usually end up at Michael's and Jo-ann's. Are there any other worthwhile places to stop?Huh
14  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Help with mannequin adjustments on: July 07, 2006 11:13:53 PM
I have a "My Double" mannequin and while most areas adjust to my measurements, the chest is much smaller than mine. I would say that the mannequin is at most a "B" cup, while I measure a "DD". Any ideas on a permanent way to enlarge the breasts to my size? I have tried using an old bra that I put on her and stuffed, but it must still be off because the shirts that I make fit on the mannequin but then I put it on and my chest gets smooshed. HELP!!! Undecided
15  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Need suggestions for gifts for Little League Players on: June 09, 2006 10:24:41 AM
I'm sorry.l I couldnt' find a better place to put this. I coach a Little League team and the season is about to wrap up. We are having the normal pizza/trophy party but I found this awesome baseball cotton fabric and got the notion to make something for each team member, but for the life of me cannot think of anything easy and appropriate. I have 9 boys and 2 girls on my team. I would love any ideas you could throw out! Huh
16  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Wanna wear a halter, but... on: June 08, 2006 08:11:47 PM
thanks to having breastfed three babies, I have droopy boobs.  Angry Not only that, but they are huge. I am 5 feet tall and wear a 34DDD. I have just stopped breastfeeding my last baby so I expect that soon I will be down to a 34DD, but that is still large. My problem is that I cannot find a strapless bra in a 34DD that will stay up. Any suggestions on changes to patterns or add-ins that will help in supporting my massive cleavage?
