21  Help! Finding Westcott paper trimmer blades. in Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions by uluru on: March 25, 2008 06:58:52 AM
Hi everyone,
Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but...
I bought a Westcott Paper Trimmer (WCPT01) (like this!)

The blades are now dull and blunt, after making 200 wedding invites for my sister's wedding, but I can't seem to find replacement blades for sale anywhere.
I was wondering if anyone would have any advice as to how to source the replacement blades. I've tried Google, seems Westcott doesn't have it's own store... the craft shop we bought them from is now closed... and I'm a bit stuck!

22  Cards for valentines day and two birthdays. (BIG pics!) in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by uluru on: January 31, 2008 10:09:28 AM
Haven't made anything in a while, but had a bit of a card making spree today.

This is an 81st birthday card for my grandma.

A 21st birthday card for my sister.

And the beginnings of a valentine's card for the boyf.

(Including pop-up hearts inside!)

Sorry for the pictures, I've got a new camera and am still getting used to it!

Just got back from Spain, incredibly tired and moody after a LONG journey, to find 4 parcels- 5 pairs of earrings- waiting for me!!!
Brightened my day so much! Thankyou!

Sorry for the bedspread, and the lack of action shots... I promise better photos tomorrow, when I'm less jet-lagged.

Thankyou all so much- these are beautiful... can't decide which to wear now though...so much choice!

25  Summer Coptic (chain stitch) journal (4 pics) in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by uluru on: June 27, 2007 10:27:32 AM
I think this is my first ever project post...Wahoo!!

So, anyway, I've been keeping a journal/ diary/ prayer notebook/ sketchbook/ collagebook ..basically, a "book of everything" for about 7 years. I adore keeping a journal, and reading over old ones is so much fun. So I ran out of pages on Monday night, and couldn't be bothered to get into town and buy a new one.

A few internet searches and some cutting and pasting later, I have a beautiful, rainbow, summery journal, handmade by me, and best of all FREE!!!

Onto the pics...

 Grin Comments/thoughts/criticisms etc welcome!!!

I recieved from Petite_renoncule today...So much good stuff! Really brightened my day...thankyou so much!

Suki is home after a long and very eventful trip!

One of my favorite pages in the beautiful scrapbook! Plus Suki in her gorgeous new shirt.

From top, Red beaded necklace (stunning!), Keyring (fun!!), Orange beaded bracelet (Gorgeous and fits me beautifully!), Keyring Zipper purse, mini basketball, Mix CD (I am really enjoying this...so much new and brilliant music) and Suki in the Huskies Shotglass!!!

An incredible amount of gorgeous, beautiful postcards from all the places Suki visited. Plus a windowsticker from the Conneticut Huskies!!!

More tourism leaflets from Suki's sightseeing! And her ID/Passport (so cute!!!!)

Sweets, candies and chocolate to last me all summer (since taking the photo, 2 lollies and the skittles have "mysteriously vanished...")

Suki tucked up after the long trip, in her new (very beautiful) quilt. Aaah! She (and I) both adore it!!!
(Suki is shirtless here, to show off her beautiful necklace. She's decided she does like some purples, after all (including this one!))

Thankyou so much, petite_renoncule, you are an amazing swap partner.

Uluru (Off to try the cinnamon chewing gum- never had any except mint here. So exciting!!!)

Meekins and I visited Pulteney Wier this weekend...
This place

Picturesque and beautiful, but a nightmare to take decent photos of. I was so scared Meekins would fall in!!!

Yesterday Meekins and I visited Bath Abbey. Like the tea factory, they dont let you take photos indoors (I sneaked a couple!), but the risk of posing Meekins too would've been too much. So only outside photos, I'm afraid!

At a Ben and Jerry's restaurant (mmmm) in front of the Abbey.

Inside. Pretty, huh?

Side view of the Abbey.

We had a great day!!!!

Ps: Suki's arrived safe and sound in Conneticut, USA!! Yay!

This is Suki. Her full name is Suki Sweetapple, and she's small (approx 3.5 inches tall) but perfectly formed.

This is her in a miniature teacup, which is usually her home by my mirror!

She's very excited to be going away!
