11  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Chunky neckwarmer - project made from scraps on: August 26, 2009 12:10:01 PM
I think it looks great. I love those two colors (I even made a pair of slippers out of them!).

You are going to be stylin' this winter.  Grin
12  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: It's my shop - don't I call the shots? on: August 26, 2009 05:23:09 AM

I can resell them, thankfully! I just have 6 slippers all the same color of blush pink, but different sizes. Ack! They were supposed to be for her bridal party, which I thought was a very cute idea. Oh well.

And my slippers don't have a fixed form to them. They form to your feet. So I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble with them. Wink
13  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: My new obsession: crochet flowers! on: August 26, 2009 05:16:49 AM
I, also, love making crochet flowers. And yours are beautiful.

They have lots of potential to be added to handbags, hats, scarves, maybe even earrings!

Have fun with them!
14  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Recycled cabled cardigan on: August 25, 2009 02:58:54 PM
This is beautiful! I do not have the patience to do anything like this, but this sweater makes me kind of want to try. I'd have to learn how to knit first, but that's just a small step to get over, right?

Great job.

These are great! Wow! I love the cables. I always seem to be attracted to them the most. I think it's because as a crocheter they are one of the most obvious things I can't really do with crochet.

All the hats are really great though. You chose some great colors.
16  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knit look alike leg warmers on: August 25, 2009 02:52:43 PM
I don't have a pattern for that, but here's my two cents on possibly making one.

I think I would make the top separate from the rest of the legwarmer and then attach them together. That way you can make the ribbing of the top and then sew it onto the straight part of the leg warmer.

Anyway, they are cute. Good luck in figuring it out.

I think this is genius! I think I know a doxie who would love it if he could sit still long enough. What a great idea.

And your doxie is so very adorable. I want to squeeze him and love him all over.
18  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Mini crochet coin purse. on: August 25, 2009 06:37:57 AM
I got my larger purse frames yesterday so today I am working on making the larger sized ones. Yipee.
19  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Slouchy Beret help on: August 24, 2009 05:58:54 PM
Here's the secret: that isn't crocheted. It's machine knitted. I know it says it is crocheted, but it's wrong. Sorry. I think the easiest way to make that is to just buy it.
