oh my goodness, that is too funny that you bought those earrings, and here we meet again! hope you wear them with pride!
thanks for posting, i was really beginning to wonder if i was the only person on the island who was a hip craftster.
i'll have to check out that SNB, b/c i'd be so into it, I've been wanting to start one, or even just start a "creativity club" or something.....

AWESOME! hooray! I have been dying to make this dress from that same issue: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=9207.0

the bobbin case on my sewing machine broke the other day though. boo hoo. (hopefully i'll get a new one tomorrow!)

i love the way your shirt came out!
397  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Embroidered X-Rated porno Panties on: July 25, 2004 11:58:16 PM
hahahaha. i think it's funny, and silly. I need to learn how to embroider and do that. what a great idea!
(oh, and i totally bought a pair of panties the other day that have flowers embroidered on them--yours are WAY better!)
398  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: Seed Bead Daisy Chain on: July 24, 2004 07:34:47 PM
i used to have a ring like that in high school, and was thinking about it the other day for some random reason, and was like, "now, how did i make that?" thanks for reminding me...and for the great tute.
399  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: CD Necklace on: July 24, 2004 07:32:50 PM
i love these! i sooo can't wait to make them.
my friend gave me a huge spool of cheap-o cd-rs when she moved. they are all kindsa crazy different colors, and since they aren't very quality cds i don't plan on using them to actually burn music on to...so i might as well use tjem for this.
hooray! thanks for the idea!
400  UNITED STATES / Hawaii / great places to get cool supplies and what-not on oahu on: July 22, 2004 12:16:19 PM
so, i was thinking, we could complie a list and swap ideas:
i love getting supplies at:
marakia (sp) 99cent stores are actually really great. the one at ward, and the random one in the safe way in salt lake (i think that's where it is) they have random origami papers, chopsticks, and tons of storage bins. they also have lotsa cheap goodies you can use to reconstruct/repurpose.

i love, love, love, the salvation army in kailua!

isle knit on the 14th floor on the century center (i think that's what it's called) on bishop in chinatown is also good for bamboo knitting needles. she also sells lotsa yarn, but it can be expensive--but where else are you gonna go on this island??

if there is anyone else out there on oahu, i'd love to hear where you get your supplies and other cool stuff....
