Here are some closer images of the things I sent to Nevergrowup.
Things I made were: decoupaged mirror and box, necklaces, star hook, magnets.

Group Shots:

Close-up of the box's lid, images of old Hollywoodish actors/movie scenes:

These were already inside the cosmetic bag in the group shot:

The stickers she mentioned:

Alright.   Here is her haul:

The hook is hidden in  the fabric in the previous photo.  Was afraid it would poke through the envelope.

Upclose of the neckalce I made.  No, my arm isn't THAT huge. -_-

55  Re: Reading Rainbow Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by StarFire on: March 14, 2005 11:40:06 AM
Well, since I sent it a long time ago, I guess I'll go ahead and post the pics I have of what I sent to puddinwuddin.  The USPS told me she got the package, so it doesn't seem to hurt anyone.

Sadly, I was in a rush to get  the thing mailed off (a day late) that I never got a pic of the tote!   Maybe I can get an image of the fabric from my friend who kept the scraps, to give ya'll an idea.

Here is the book, "The Broke Diaries," by Anglea Nissel (she also writes for the TV show "Scrubs").  I absolutely adore the book, its great for picking me up and making me laugh.

The book marks (ala Book Thongs!) I made:

And this is something extra I put in the pacakge.   I got one of those $10 "What I Read" books from the journal section of Borders last year, and loved it.   So, I decided to make one for this swap...err....I actually altered a Mini-Scrapbook.  I used scrapbook paper, cardstock, vellum, ribbon and beads.  The inside is all handwritten by me, with a black sparkly gel pen.  =P

Inside first pages:

Last page (and my fave quote!)  Quote reads: "I read part of it, all the way through." - Sam Goldwyn.:

Oh my goodness!!   I got off of a crappy work shift, and what was waiting in my mail but my swap package!!!   ^_^    I got the most wonderful tote, bookmarks,  and great books from Silverwing!     The books are:  "Demons Don't Dream" by Piers Anthony (one of my FAVE authors!) and "The Dark is Rising" by Susan Cooper, both are fantasy.  <3      Thank-you sooo much, Silverwing!

Here are pics:

and and up-close of the little charm-thingee...

I sooo love how she kept with the rainbow theme!  I gonna show it off to my sister....then am going to have to hide it from her...her fave things are rainbows and stars. *L*    I might use the tote as a full-fledged purse!

58  Re: Christmas tree topper ideas? in Winter Holidays by StarFire on: December 08, 2004 05:32:49 PM
well, i went for super non-traditional this year.  ahaha. tacky toys, tinsel, and to top it all off, a skeleton pirate bank.

yeah. banks would make good toppers, you could probably find a more appropriate one...i know this is tacky, its intentional. ha

I love it!   Tacky or not, that is a way fun, and cool, tree!  ^_^

My magnets.  Images are of vintage travel poster reprints and are right off my ink jet printer.  Much better in person than the scan will ever be.
