11  EUROPE / GERMANY / Frankfurt help on: December 09, 2004 09:24:55 AM
I'm planning a little trip to Frankfurt for the end of december and the first days of January, so it would be really useful to have some informations about the followings, if any of you can help, thanks a lot!

- Is there any place in Frankfurt where I can buy the Print Gocco?
- Advices of crafty shops, I'm interested in particular in sewing (fabric stores or thrift shops even good) and paper goods, but anything else is ok, I like it all  Wink
- Advices about open air markets, especially where to find vintage goods (not the expensive ones, though)
- Any other thing that you think is worth a visit or a look in the city!  Kiss

If any of you is planning a trip to Rome, here to answer!
12  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Origami Shirts on: November 02, 2004 12:19:33 PM

Origami shirts made with recycled paper (half the standard notebook size).
They're so easy to make I can't stop myself!
13  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Question about using microwave for crafts *and* for cooking on: July 26, 2004 05:02:25 AM
I searched the archive for it, but it seems to be anything about, so I'm asking to you all:
is it safe to use microwave for our crafts (like, melt&pour candles or soaps, melting lp vynils, etc.) and still using it to cook food?
I just was wondering about it, because I would like to use my new microwave (never owned one before) for my crafts but I would not ruin it or have strange health consequences  Wink

thanks, ciao!
14  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / First post, first bag - Updated! Little birdy pouch (on page 2) on: May 09, 2004 03:39:19 PM
Don't know if it's correct to start a new topic, new to posting to the forum although I am a long time lurker. And, sorry for my english, I'm not mothertongue.  Lips sealed
This is my first bag ever, nothing special I know, and the seams are also a little bit messy, but it makes sense to me because I'd never ever thought that I could made it... I grew up with a super crafty mom, whom I was often compared to like the "black sheep", so I always felt unconfortable with crafting or nothing even far manual - until I discovered Craftster and all you smart and gorgeous people! Smiley  Thank you all, for the awesome ideas and ispiration (and tutorials also!); i love this community and the way it pulled out the crafty side of me! Smiley

Ok, stop babbling! The pics (the last image is a little purse I made before the bag, like a try to become more familiar with the sewing machine):
