21  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Lined zippered pouch from partly recycled materials - before and after on: April 10, 2005 06:15:32 PM
Orange felt, bright yellow zipper, dark denim jeans and azzurro (how do you say that color? light blue?) and orange stars heavy cotton huge shirt, that I found at Porta Portese (the weekly, famous open market here in Rome) for 1 euro.

Thanks for looking, ciao!

Wow you did a great job on those purses, especially on the last one! I love the contrast between the zipper, the lining and the exterior fabric.
25  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Purse of Any Kind Swap Gallery!! on: April 03, 2005 04:32:57 PM
I have received mine, as pics in this gallery attest. My partner, Fury inc, has received hers, as wrote in this thread. There are also other entries in this thread with people posting pics or saying they have received their bag, maybe you could check that also. Hope everybody will receive her bag.

Well, I saw the two first pics and I thought that was actually the original Gucci bag! Smiley) (and i'm italian! hahah)
Your bag looks perfect to me, don't bother about the wrinkles...you can always say that they add character to the whole bag! Wink

thank you all!

starlene, i'm obsessed by those little creatures! i draw them all the time, at work i have my desk full of papers with them, haha  i draw also all those curvy and fatty (correct??) lines, such the "coral" (well, i didn't know it was a coral  Cheesy). If there's a piece of paper and a pen in the nearby, easily you'll find me drawing lines, i'm a graphomaniac  Roll Eyes

thank you so much muchachaK (haha the word joke was not intended), your kind words got their way to my heart Smiley

thanks all for your feedback!

Sewer Rat, the flower is actually blue light wool, a mixture yarn of deep and hot blue (I took the pictures late at night, so not all colours came out well)  Smiley

MELMA??!!? dude.. that is one deep little blob creature. i LOVE it.

"melma" is the italian for mud, well actually it's a synonim for mud (which is "fango"), but I don't know how you say melma in english  Cheesy
I draw those little monsters all the time, and the very first I did had a balloon saying "melma day" (I was very stressed), so since then I call all those creatures "melmini".  Smiley

Thanks to MissErika's tutorial, I managed to sew the lining underneath the zip on the inside, which I couldn't make before. So I made these 3 pouches for a trade.
