1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: dorothy parker sweater!! on: March 10, 2012 10:16:49 PM
This is the most amazing sweater in the world. The end.
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Walnut Lady Parts (NSFW/Mature) on: March 07, 2012 07:33:19 AM
I sort of immediately want one, honestly. Pretty awesome.

String them on something neon and give 'em to a riot grrrl band!
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Plumbing Chain Wrap Bracelet on: January 21, 2012 06:11:17 PM
I *love* honestlywtf--wicked style. Your bracelets look fantastic! I've made these and mine were all twisty and kind of gross--any advice?
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: crafts:: backpack for the doggie on: December 11, 2011 05:49:12 PM
Oh man, this is adorable. I'm crazy for the stripes+heart closure. Very refined! Super classy!

Now, can I justify putting my super boyish bullyboy in something like this? HMMM.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: *Deconstruct-Reconstruct* College Project on: May 10, 2011 01:21:41 PM
I would wear the HECK out of this. Definitely fulfilled the project guidelines, and it looks amaaaazing. Delish. Love the slick androgyny. What a transformation!
6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Opinions wanted- updated with semi-final hair on: October 15, 2010 03:46:50 PM
As a former gothy mall rat, I would have personally beelined for the guy in the hawk, but it would make him look older (not a lot of 16 year old dudes have rocking hawks). I definitely wouldn't go with #1, as it looks really metal-dude to me? Or frilly goth dude if he was in lacey clothes and all.

So I vote for #3! Looks good and is very contemporary? Definitely like the new eyelids, though, and the new hair is good too.
7  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Re: I painted myself green! Star Trek Orion on: September 22, 2010 07:45:11 PM
You look awesome; I may be inspired to post some of myself painted green from last year.

Like everyone else, I'm gonna ask--what did you use?

I used alcohol based temp tattoo paint when I did it, but I wanted to be all over green for daaaays (which ended up being more like weeks). Oh, and I airbrushed it on.
8  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Re: Ceramic Bird Cage With Vulture Inside on: November 09, 2009 03:54:12 PM
How can anyone NOT have an emotional reaction to the vulture?! You did an awesome job, what do you expect? Smiley

Seriously, I want it. It's so emotive. And while I didn't comment on it the first time, the cage is lovely, too--built and painted such that it, too, looks sad...and also shabby, and old, and worn.
9  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Hoodoo you know thats Voodoo? on: November 07, 2009 09:40:27 PM
oh wow.

So I clicked on this ready to be vaguely annoyed, as I often am by posts with the word 'voodoo' in them that also mention voodoo dolls, BUUT

your outfit is AMAZING, crazy detailed, super creative. the makeup is fabulous, and all your accessories are awesome--and there's even some veve inspired stuff. also, you are mad hot.

I have absolutely no complaints! Carry on. Continue being absolutely stunning.

The mouth stitching is really great, too--I love that there's actually some red there, so it looks painful.
I love the bones. And I have that exact belt.

OH MY GOD, IS THAT AN ERZULIE VEVE ON THE SKULL'S FOREHEAD? IT IS IT IS IT IS. Okay, I basically love you. My adoration! I beam it at you.

I've been dying to get the erzulie veve tattooed on my skin for yeeears now. ugh. gotta do it!

in conclusion, you are amazing, and i shall vote for you.

the vulture looks SO SAAAD. I'm kind of in love with it. I want to give it snuggles and kisses and warm tea.

Seriously, good work. It is, of course, a little creepy. Smiley but only in the best way possible.
