1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Jacket Knock-off Twice Completed. on: November 22, 2007 05:41:05 PM
So A year ago I had this assingment to knock off this jacket.

And this is what I came up with. Now note this was my first big project in college so the sewing isn't that great. And this picture was taken a year after the garment was made, so there's a little wear and tear.

The Jacket is floor length and has Teal lining in it. Sorry I don't have a pic of that but I'll try to get one soon. Anyway, now a year later I needed to make another knockoff and I didn't have the time to make a whole new one like the one above. So what did I do? Knocked off a knockoff! And here is round two!

and back

Sorry the images are sideways, couldn't change 'em.

4  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Dail Sew Machine on: August 09, 2007 09:40:32 AM
Okay so I'm helping someone try and find information about a machine that was literally dropped on her. It says 'Dial Sew' on the front and we can't tell if that in the brand or not. Anyone heard of this machine before, if so, what about tracking down a manual?
