I received from smashergrl, but I will have to post pics tomorrow.  She did an AMAZING job and I am so spoiled!  I absolutely love everything . . . more later.   Grin

But when I was in college, one of my housemates and I found cheese fudge in the cheese case at a grocery store.  It was interesting, and not in a bad way.  It had all the texture of cheese, but with the look and flavor of chocolate fudge.  I would consider buying it again, but I don't think they sold enough to make it a permanent part of their inventory.

This is funny to me because the only recipe for fudge that my mom ever had or made was made out of Velveeta!  It grosses me out now to think about it, but it never did taste like cheese and it had a velvety texture.  Haha!

hmm idk about the jelly. I let it slide if I get syurp on my ham, bacon, or eggs cause IDK well they were next to my pancakes. But I don't think I'd have a craving for such by itsself. Jelly on biscuits seems ok (I prefer butter) but I don't care for it.
I guess you can't knock it until you try it...even though I think jelly and cheese seems to....unnatural for me. It'd be like eating liver and onions or something.

You really should try jelly with a sausage biscuit!  It's like a little breakfast sandwich and it tastes great!  (McDonald's used to give you grape jelly automatically with a sausage biscuit, so I don't think it's that uncommon.)  I love some maple syrup on bacon and you can even get maple syrup cured bacon that has the flavor smoked right in!

As for jelly and cheese, I think you might be surprised.  My grandmother always ate jelly and cheese sandwiches because she hated peanut butter.  I thought she was crazy until I ate it one day and realized that it was just fabulous.

My motto is, "if a lot of people like to eat it that way, it may not be all bad."  (Which is generally why I eat food the way it comes in restaurants until I find out a way I would like it better!)

My dad was always the king of "weird" combinations and he made some things that I actually liked pretty well.

We like to put barbeque sauce on green beans.

We also have a favorite that makes my mom gag that we like to call "Chinese macaroni."  We add soy sauce and garlic powder to home-made macaroni and cheese.  It sounds disgusting, but it's really great!  This concoction probably branched from our "Chinese spaghetti" which we made when we ran out of spaghetti sauce but still had leftover noodles.  You just zap them in the microwave with soy sauce and a little garlic powder and those noodles have zing!

Of course, we always used to try to put ranch dressing on strange stuff too, but I think alot of folks think that ranch will help out almost anything.

I also love to dip my pizza crusts in Italian dressing.  That's about all the weird things I can think of!

Those bags are so nice and colorful!  Great job, Ms. Rosie!  I love the last one.  Does it have two handles, or is there just a fun closure?

PS: The kitty in your avatar has the same face as my kitten, Sabrina.  And even crazier, the kitty on your etsy shop has the same face as my OTHER kitten, Samantha.  I love your obsession with kitties!!!

Holy Mother!  You've been busy . . . and so pretty . . . I want some hand-dyed yarn!  (Out of curiousity, where do you get yarn to dye?)

I love sugar-n-cream yarn.  It just feels so good to me!  Beautiful color!  Wink Moss stitch is a very nice look, I think.

Ok, I will surely post one.  (It may take a week or so for me to figure out EXACTLY how I did it, but I will post a good tute.)  Thanks for asking!
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Typewriter Keys on a Choker on: November 16, 2006 12:22:28 PM
I made this necklace recently for a swap that I was in.  She liked pink and black, so I made a choker with some typewriter keys that I had and some pink glass and crystal beads.  I think it turned out rather nice.   Grin

close-up pic of the necklace for detail:

and a pic of me "trying the necklace out" (sorry for the fuzziness).

Here's the gallery if you want to check out the rest of the stuff:
