1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Home of the Sampler Question on: October 11, 2006 12:42:48 PM
Hey guys this is a little off topic but i know some of you guys have put your samples in at homeofthesampler.com and i was wondering if along with the samples if you are allowed to put in more buisness cards and such.  like i am doing 25 samples but am i allowed to put in more business cards so she can put them in her other sample packages she hands out?  i've been trying to figure this out and i'm going to the post office today and i didn't wanna do a big "no no" if we aren't allowed to.

any info on this from you guys is soo appreciated!

4  CANADA / Ontario / jewelry displays in toronto? on: April 15, 2006 08:40:08 PM
hey i'm hoping some of you fellow craftsters can help me.  I'm looking for some jewelry displays (for earrings and rings specifically but for anything really)  any one know any good stores that sell them for reasonably prices?  or does anyone know of any places online to buy them from that ship reasonably to canada?  I am doing 3 craft shows at the end of may/early june and would love to use them for my table.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / fresh and fun felt flowers on: April 06, 2006 11:04:50 PM
i was debating on whether or not this goes in "trinkets" but i am a jeweller mostly so these babies are more like accessories to me.  I've been taking my hand at felting wool and absolutely love it, and have come up with these rose buds pins.  What do you guys think?

thanks for looking!
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / My Favourite Bunny on: January 27, 2006 11:02:02 AM
I decided to jump on the bandwagon with all the cute little naimals being made and decided to make a bunny.  I didn't use a pattern, just made it up as i went along, but i did have a lot of fun making it and figure i will get even better as i go on.

So what do you guys think?  I feel like he needs something else, maybe a shirt? or a scarf? or something?

7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / gift boxes, bags, etc help! How do you ship your items? on: November 21, 2005 08:44:18 PM
Hello everyone, I'm in the mist of opening an etsy store, as well, i will be selling mine nad my sisters jewelry at a local mall this christmas and i'm curious to know where you get your bags/boxes/whatever to ship/package your goods in?

As i said, i'm selling jewelry and have yet to find good prices on bags (i'm thinking organza would be best)  or boxes, or whatever.

i would love to know who you buy from and also, how do you ship your items to make sure they are all snug and safe?

Thanks for reading!
8  CANADA / Ontario / Arton Beads in Toronto Expanded on: March 09, 2005 11:42:44 AM
I dont know if you peeps have noticed, or when exactly it happened, but last week i went into arton's and they now have 2 stores!  one right beside the other, one sells there main stuff (plus has way more room in it now) and the other one is set up sooo nice and sells all there higher quality beads and sterling silver/gold/etc. findings.  the prices in the new part of the store are really decent too.

anyone else checked it out?  i'm soo happy to see them doing soo good.
