71  Hello kitty/plectrum bracelets & sesame street kilt pin in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by False_desire on: July 12, 2006 02:28:40 PM
These are my latest things I've spent tonight making, it's surprising how quickly the time passes... Anyway, here are two hello kitty charm bracelets, a plectrum bracelet and a sesame street kilt pin (I love cookie). The hello kitty bracelets look much better on, the photo doesn't really do them justice and it has been resized. I might take another one some time, but it's late now and I don't want to... My fingers are killing me now lol.

72  To continue with the hello kitty theme... sculpey push pin in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by False_desire on: June 09, 2006 09:06:37 AM
I know I've been into hello kitty far more than is healthy lately. Anyway, this is my latest hello kitty creation, a sculpey push pin. I think it's kinda cute, I have a feeling this will be the first of many. The photo isn't brilliant Sad

73  Taking Back Sunday girl oil painting in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by False_desire on: June 03, 2006 03:44:15 AM
Last week I went to see my friend, it turns out his mum has got really into painting, it looked like fun so I decided I wanted to have a go. Whilst I was looking around the internet I found a photo of the most brilliant Taking Back Sunday poster which I really wanted. So anyway, it turns out this was to be my first project. It took me about 6 hours to do (I stayed up to 1AM to get it finished). I think I would have probably been better off using acrylic, but this was my first go and it's all learning experience. As far as the white bits of canvas go they shouldn't really be there, but I think they ended up that way because I was usng the wrong type of paint. I think the hand outline needs a lot of improvement, but it could be a lot worse I guess Smiley

74  Chunky fimo hot pink & black bead flower ribbon bracelet thingy in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by False_desire on: June 02, 2006 04:45:37 AM
So, I've really been into hot pink and black lately, and a while ago I decided to make myself this bracelet. I think it's quite cute, though it would have probably been better if I'd placed the flowers a bit more randomly. I threaded it onto some spare hot pink ribbon I have so it could fit anyone, I have quite a small wrist, but it doesn't actually look too big on me which I was a bit worried about.

75  Notebook for my polaroids in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by False_desire on: May 25, 2006 01:21:21 AM
I think this probably belongs in the reconstructed category...

It was my birthday a little while ago and my friend sent me a present in the post. Not being one to waste a good box I set about recycling it into a little book to put my tiny polaroids in. I've pretty much salvaged all of the materials from one thing or another. It is covered in a lovely handmade paper that my sister bought ages ago but never used, the paper is from an old sketchbook I tore apart and I used to wear the ribbon in my hair. This is the first book I've made, it is quite simple, but seeing some of the others on here has given me inspiration to do something a bit more complex  Cheesy.

*edit* When my mum saw my book she wanted one too, so I made her the one below. I'm going to make a tinkerbell one soon, I think I'm becoming obsessed with these little books now!

*edit 2 to include my last book* The is more basic than the other two, I used fimo to make the hearts on the front.

76  Hello Kitty danglers in Completed Projects by False_desire on: May 23, 2006 09:15:18 AM
So. I've been a bit of a lurker, but I thought I should probably post something...

These are little hello kitty dangler things that I made out of 3D foam with feather wings, the pink one is for me to hang in my car, and I made the red one for my nan who is in hospital.
