this is my entry.. If I had seen the challenge earlier i wouldve also done the same banners with FAITH and LOVE since that is a tattoo on my wish list. (based off of a close Aunt, who recently passed away, favorite bible verse)
for now, HOPE is what I've made.. I hope you enjoy it. The whole thing came from my head, including the font.

P.S. I am originally from NY, but living in Denver, so the shirt means all that much more to me.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / 2 yellow shirts + no sewing machine=handsewn skirt.[IMAGEHEAV] on: June 04, 2006 06:06:20 PM
Needed to make use of these old yellow too-big shirts, and also needed a new summer skirt, a little improvising, and here is the result. i dont have a sewing machine, so i made some sweet X's using cross stich, adds a little extra flavor. I know it needs to be ironed.. also enjoy the kitty in the background.

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Sharing some of my bags..(Xtra img heavy) on: May 28, 2006 06:51:02 PM

close up of polkadot mini-bag

"bookbag" literally, cause it has a matching book that lives in it, which i did the prints on, and binded myself.

Im having issues uploading the close-ups of my favorite purse, the plaid one. Inside is a recon pair of jeans, used the butt pockets as pockets. ill post them if i can get them somewhere.
