1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Amigurumi Pumpkins on: October 22, 2008 07:56:40 PM
These are the newest additions to my amigurumi collection. I love Halloween and specially orange and black, they just look so perfect together. So for Halloween decor I have made these cute little pumpkins, 2 realistic ones and one amigurumi. They were pretty easy to make and the best thing is they wont go bad hehe.

Both patterns can be found free online, and can be easily modified to make bigger sized pumpkins.

Realistic (thanks to FleshEatingBunny) http://www.flesheatingbunny.com/?page_id=40 (there is a cute ghost on this site as well)
Amigurumi (thanks PlanetJune) http://www.planetjune.com/blog/free-crochet-patterns/pumpkin

Happy Halloween! Smiley

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Not been there Souvenir Swap on: July 18, 2007 03:17:49 PM
How about a swap where you sent out souvenirs from your country, as if the swap partner had come to visit. It be like cool for international craftsters, and US a like, one could send out cute national symbols, crafts, candies, kitschy stuff, it be like getting souvenirs without the travel...just an idea...

9  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Twin Teddies (Amigurumi) *tutorial added on: June 12, 2007 11:04:30 AM
Hi all! Ive been kinda busy, so these are my latest creations, straight out of my awesome new book i got a week ago, Amigurumi collection, seemed everyone finds these hard to make, i find them way easy, just takes some C.S. to find out what goes where. Ok enough yapping here they are:

brown sugar

they're made from 100% cotton, except the top one i used different color yarn for the limbs.

Hope yall like.

*Edit. Finally a tutorial, pretty easy, any questions ill be happy to help.
PS: please excuse my nails, been crafting and no time for polish.

For the teddy you will need at least 2 different colors, I choose brown and white, embroidery floss for the details and to big eyes 9mm.
Make sure you use a thinner tread for the snout if not youll end up with a bulky nose.
