1  White floral dress.. i pretty much love it (pic hefty) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Scary Teri on: January 12, 2009 08:37:43 PM
I got this fabric from the scrap bin at the thrift shop at the humane society.  I showed my guy and asked him what I should make with it.. he replied "curtains? it reminds me of my grandma's couch..", i said, "oh.. I was thinking a dress haha". We both like how it turned out.. well at least he said he liked it hahaha!

i used Simplicity 3774 and just shortened the skirt a bit.  Cheesy enjoy!

2  McCall's 5358 apron in Sewing Pattern Reviews by Scary Teri on: December 20, 2007 11:45:27 PM
I thought this pattern turned out really well, and it was uber easy and quick.  I made the first two for my mom for her birthday, and she loves them so much that she stole the pattern from me to make them for her sisters and her friends!  Cheesy The third one is one she made for one of her friends.  It's a little saggy on me because she altered the pattern to make it bigger for a bigger lady. They might look a little wrinkley but oh well. Smiley

6  My two FAVORITE new shirts! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Scary Teri on: July 24, 2006 10:57:40 PM
i made these from New Look 6557 view E which is actually a dress pattern but i lengthened the mid section by four inches and the back panels by six inches and left out the skirt.  This pattern is totally easy and I love the way it turned out as a shirt.

The first one turned out a little too big since i make small seams and they give me like four inches for them;). but i took it in and i like it but as my sister put it "it makes you have old lady boobs" whatever that means. but i went down a size on the blue one and i really like it, i also added some laceyish trim to the bottom

All comments welcome!
