2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Cute Mini Coin Purse on: December 04, 2006 06:13:43 PM
that was my first knitting project too!  But yours came out way better than mine.  Mine was all bumpy & way too big for a mini coin purse.

Klutz taught me how to knit! Grin

5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / News paper/magazine flowers on: December 03, 2006 04:34:20 PM
These are my newspaper and magazine flowers. I followed the instructions, but they just didn't turn out right at first. But, after many hours of toil, they finally came out right!!! the floral tape I used wasn't working and that added to the trouble. I made three-- two were made from an urban outfitters catalog and the other was made of newspaper. Grin

~ she can knit so it wouldn't be cool to make something she can make herself!
~She's a really good dancer
~Likes mod, trendy stuff
~She just got a room redo so maybe something for her room? The colors are hot pink, lime green, and bright orange
~She likes manicures & spa stuff

She's an awesome friend, but shes really hard to shop for so I decided that this year I'd make her something this year.
