Nice job, it looks so grood!!! I love it!! Super creative and SO CUTE.

I also jumped on the alcoholic-beverage-halloween-costume, and along with 6 friends went out on the town as the 7 Duff beers from the Simpsons.

Here is a photo of my husband(Tipsy)- bustin' a move on the dance floor - and I (Dizzy)

The costumes were made out of felt, with pie tin bottle caps.

12  Purple Hat with pom poms in Knitting: Completed Projects by panther_012003 on: February 12, 2008 09:55:45 AM
While stuck inside during some of our sub-zero temps here in the midwest, I decided to make my sister a purple hat to match the mittens I made for her a few years ago.

You can tell in the photo that it's a different kind of yarn, but the colors are actually very close in real life.
I got the pattern from Stich N' Bitch , and substituted the pom pom on top instead of cat ears.

13  Frankenbag!! (Made from plastic bags) in Crochet: Completed Projects by panther_012003 on: January 15, 2008 06:35:44 PM
I saw some posts about people who crocheted a bag out of plastic bags and since I have collected about 1 million plastic bags I decided it would be the perfect use for them! Unfortunately, I have never crocheted anything in my life. This may not have been the best beginner project... because of the whole plastic bag thing. Plus, I didn't really know how to read the pattern that I found.

By the time I realized that I had been going about it the completely wrong way, I already had a giant crocheted square of white plastic. But I figured, what the heck, it was too late to start over, so I made the rest up as I went along. This took me about 6 months to finally complete - working on and off - and because it ended up being several chunks of color stitched together I dubbed it FRANKENBAG. Here he is!

14  Amigurumi Animals in Knitting: Completed Projects by panther_012003 on: January 06, 2008 07:49:02 PM
So I've been wanting to make some of these animals ever since I saw a posting on craftster with them, and I finally got some patterns. So far I've churned out these little guys. I just think they're so cute! I didn't have wool, so I haven't attempted the felting thing, but I think they are still cute without it. The little pink llama I made for my friend and she was made with a smaller weight yarn and needles so she's much smaller than the other two.

I've really struggled with making anything more complicated than a scarf, so i was really pleased when I found out that these little guys aren't that hard to make.

First was Owly McHooterson

Next was Dolly Llama

And Finally, but not lastly Evil Possum

And all three friends together

Thanks for looking!
