1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Millefiori Cardigan on: May 12, 2009 08:29:51 PM
Just completed the Millefiori Cardigan, from Interweave Spring 2009.

Knit with 1.5 balls of Bendigo Cotton 8ply in Damask Rose ( a dusky pinkish sort of colour)

The knit was easy once I figured out the clamshell pattern, and I also changed the twisted rib to a broken rib (by mistake though).

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Zoo Print Grey Shift Dress with Buttoned Pockets on: January 11, 2009 07:40:43 PM
I loved the fabric when I saw it (and bought 4metres of it!!), and had no idea what to do with it, but i thought Simplicity 3507 (Project Runway Pattern) was so cute I just had to give it a go.

My only recommendation if you make this is to use your RTW dress size, not the pattern sizing cause they are HUGE.

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Bubble Bee Top on: December 13, 2008 02:40:00 PM
When i bought this cute little bee fabric, I decided I needed something cute and casual to wear out of it, and out came the Bubble Bee Top.

No pattern was used , and the design was my own (with the assistance of my pattern making teacher).

Fabric is 100% cotton for the bee fabric, lining, and the yellow gingham yoke.

Notions used were thread, elastic and buttons.
