Oh very very cool and thank you...  Shocked I've been wanting to make one of those hanging wire basket thingies for the kitchen with my record bowls, and I've not been sure how to do it. This has totally given me an idea though.  Grin Cool

Nice stuff, you've been busy.  Cheesy I can't decide which I like best, the blender is awesome though. It's giving me ideas for mine, hehe. Great use of that tire rim too!

Yeah definitely very unique, great idea.  Smiley  I love clocks too and I hardly ever see really cool ones that are affordable...

Thanks.  Cheesy

Honestly it really didn't take long, I think I could have done it in an afternoon if I'd done it all at once. Etching the bulbs took the longest, 20-30 minutes each.

Yay, I finally did something with all these lightbulbs I've hollowed out.  Tongue

So I found this..thing at my favorite thrift store for $1.50 and knew it would be perfect for a lightbulb vase. (No idea what it is, I'm thinking maybe a tealight candle holder?)  I hollowed and washed out the bulbs, etched a few of them with Armor Etch, and then attached them to the frame with 18 gauge wire. I rubbed a bit of spanish copper metallic paint on the frame because it was really brassy and I wanted it a little darker. And that's pretty much it. As you can see I only have silk flowers in it right now but I definitely plan to use real flowers in it.   Smiley
