361  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / hippy wedding? dress help needed on: May 19, 2006 01:07:21 PM
I'm looking for a dress....we're having a pretty casual wedding, but would like to keep everything natural....nothing over the top.  we're pretty hippy dippy..  Cheesy  and of course would like to have the wedding reflect our styles.
I'm thinking of an empire wasted flowy dress....prefereably longer as my legs are not my favorite part of my body.  But I'm having an incredibly hard time finding a dress that I like...or a pattern that I like, or even a picture that I like.   Any links, or photos or even drawings would be sooooo helpful.  I'm a size 18 to 20....so I thought this dress would probably be the most flattering, and luckily what I want the most.
Thanks a ton all you crafty people Smiley

364  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Blue Green and Yellow Crochet Hat on: May 17, 2006 05:16:10 PM
I just picked up crocheting again.   I've been experimenting because all I ever made before were afghans and tampons.  This is the hat I came up with.  I started making it for our 5 year old...but it turned out too big, so now it's for me  Grin  Oh well, nobody has to know that.

Good job.   I have been crocheting for a few years...I have absolutely no idea how to knit though.....they look very well done.  Good job at figuring things out for yourself without a pattern

Oh boy, I hope I figured out how to get the picture on here, because that just seemed way too easy.

Anyway, here's my first post....I've been a lurker for quite some time, but have been waiting to get a better digital camera to post.

Here is a dress I made for my bf's daughter and a matching dress for her water-baby.  Smiley
