61  Chinese Wood Symbol in Stenciling: Completed Projects by MargiePoo on: January 07, 2007 12:09:32 PM
So I was broke for this christmas, so for my siblings, I made a stencil out of the Chinese symbol for wood (our last name).  I loved how they turned out.  I made a total of 5 of them (including one for my boyfriend) only I forgot to make one for myself.  Silly me.

Thanks for peaking!

62  Easy frame and chicken wire display in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by MargiePoo on: January 07, 2007 11:53:07 AM
I had a bunch of chicken fencing left over from a sculpture class i didn't know what to do with, so i took an old wooden frame and stapled the chicken fence to the back of it, i lined the back of the frame with felt so the wire wouldn't scrape up the wooden walls.  I attatched more wire to the frame and now it hangs on my wall and displays all my necklaces.

Thanks for peeking!

I know the picture quality isn't all that great, but I work with what i have as most crafters do. Wink

64  Monthly Student planner for winter semester in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by MargiePoo on: January 07, 2007 11:22:16 AM

So I really wanted a monthly planner for this semester since I have alot on my plate (I hate weekly planners) but I couldn't find one that i liked.  So i did the obvious and pulled out some scrapbook paper and our label maker and made one.

Tabs marking each page...

A pocket for my daily "to do" list and a page for phone numbers and email addresses...

The month of March.  I miss calculated and only had room for 6 squares across so i combined saturday and sunday.  It works...

Up close of a corner on April...

Well this was definatly my most picture obese post yet.  I hope you enjoyed.

One of my dad's old shirts.  He was happy to sacrifice one of his shirts for my crafty cause.  Gotta love dads.

Any other suggestion of funny human clothes to put sock monkeys into?
