Hi everyone!

I haven't been on Craftster for quite awhile,  but a few friends and I have started up a new knitting and crochet circle and I am trying to promote it!

We meet every Wednesday night from 5-??? at One Up Elevated Lounge downtown at 3rd and Central.  If you have never been there, its a restaurant/lounge/pool hall with the most comfy public couches in the city.  The place turns 21+ at 9, but that gives you a good chunk of needlework time!!

So come out, meet some new and creative people, because we are looking forward to meeting you!

I've never used it before, but I know in the Stitch "n bitch book, the knee sock pattern calls for using elastic in the cuff

Thanks for all the nice comments!  I showed my sister what y'all said, and she blushed....she's very modest.
9  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Musical Baby Onesies on: July 13, 2006 09:20:58 PM
I just made these for my friend Ohtham who's girlfriend just had a baby.  He requested onesies with musical notes, so here's what I came up with

Front- I messed up and dropped a couple of spots of paint.  I decided to go off the deep end and I think I like it

Back- A big "O" for Ohtham

What do you think?
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Crafty little sister's shirts! on: July 13, 2006 10:43:44 AM
My little sister made these. She's 16 right now...

On the back it says "Aloha from Canada"

It says "Albuquerque"(front) "...is hard to spell" on the back.

I saw them and gave her mad praise.  I'm so proud of her craftiness!!
