awww, I totally feel for you. I've abandoned a crocheted baby blanket because of a few missed stitches. By the the time I realised it, it was too late. Shame that it has very nice colours.

Yeah, go on and do something different and come back to it later. It'll make you less murderous towards the project, or maybe husband.... Grin

Add some lovely curtains or blinds to the window?

3  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Re: tailor's chalk on: March 21, 2008 06:01:22 AM
If it's the Lincraft in the Canberra Centre, it can be a little bit messy place. I did went and had a look a couple of weeks ago and they didn't have any.

As for the tailor's chalk, you can actually get them at Woolsworth, K-Mart or Big W at the sewing/knitting section though the selection might be limited. Depending on where you are, you can try Hobbysew located at Westfield Belconnen (Shop 105A Westfield Plaza), Addicted to Fabric (http://www.a2f.com.au/index/home) at Philip or Rosemont the Patchwork Shop at Tuggeranong's Hyperdome.

There's "Hobby Sew" as Westfield Belconnen Mall.

If you can get any further, there's another shop at Tuggeranong's Hyperdome (next to bus interchange)

What about lincraft?

The Craft & Quilt Fair is coming up and there will be tons of vendors there. I think I spent more time collecting addresses of vendors and signing up on the mailing list than actually buying something!  Grin
