1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Swappers! My new Shirt Idea! on: June 14, 2004 04:21:22 PM
That's what I named this idea...
Well, onwards to my explaination!

I wanted to stencil some funny 'saying' or quote on my T-Shirt but I didn't want it to be a 'forever' type of thing. So I decided on making label type things.
It's just two pieces of fabric sewn and then the saying it stenciled on or (if your like me) drawn on with Crayola Fabric Markers.
It just looks like this (nice and simple):
It's really simple! And fun ^_^
After the label is done you just pin it on the back or front with safty pins!
Of course you'll have to be more color coordinated than me  Roll Eyes
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Broken Watch Fixed and Made Better! :) on: June 14, 2004 03:48:12 PM
I bought this nice watch one day. It lasted a long time about 3 years before it started to rip along the edges Undecided
So at the beginning of May it just all fell off my wrist while I was sewing  Cry
Here's what the peices look like:
So then I found my cool purple scarf and stuck 'em together  Grin

So what do ya'll think? Smiley
Embarrassed sorry for the blurryness, my left hand couldn't stay still... I'm right handed hehe
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / 2 'Jordy' Bags! on: June 14, 2004 03:29:50 PM
Hi! I finished two 'Jordy Bags' (as people call them, and fer good reason!).
The first it made out of a pair of old jeans I had laying around.
My name, drawn on with those wonderful Crayola Fabric Markers Cheesy
And the inside. It's very floppy, good for the beach ^_^

Now this one is my mini-bag. As you'll see it holds one pair of sunglasses and one hair clip Smiley
So cute!

Comments are welcome and wanted. ^_^
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Cat Clothes? on: May 10, 2004 07:10:10 PM
I was just wondering if anyone has a link or maybe a pattern for cat clothing (jackets, shirts, sweaters, booties etc.).
I was hoping to make some cute kitty costumes for her but I just need an idea on how... kinda got lost  Roll Eyes
(Oh, here's 'Kitty'... yes that is her name  Wink)

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Bleaching? Good or Bad?? on: April 27, 2004 08:12:46 PM
Hi! I'm a newbie, but I love to make crafts... even if I forget about them the following week  Grin
I'm in the process of making a 'Moogle' costume and I need a white pleated skirt. So right now I planning to resize and resew this pleated plaid (rather long) skirt I have. It's navy blue, red and black right now.... so I was wondering if bleaching would be best  I have no clue how or how long to do it Huh
or maybe there's another way I'm clueless about...
Help? Some One? O.o
Anyone? Undecided
