1  Pumpkin Soaps in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by KungFuGirlfriend on: October 03, 2008 07:22:32 PM
Grin My first soaps, glycerin in shades of orange, green, and purple. Delicately scented with green apple and wild berry. I'm also working on some skull shapes and pumpkins in fall colors and scents to use through harvest time and into Thanksgiving, as well as lollipop versions of all. I think they would be fun to give out at work at Halloween! I hope you like!

2  Re: Completely Random Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by KungFuGirlfriend on: September 06, 2008 07:57:19 PM
I just wanted to post some more pics of the things Hollistercobabe sent me. My old camera has been laid to rest, and it took me a little while to get a new one. I couldn't get any shots of the s'mores she sent as the hubby ate all the bits before we could make them  Embarrassed

The necklace, baby cupcake, and cute card.

This is the only pic I could get of the glasses she etched, there was a second, that says Mr. Gross.

3  Zipper pouches, kimono and dotty in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by KungFuGirlfriend on: August 21, 2008 01:06:01 PM
Grin I made my first zipper pouches recently, and they came out surprisingly well!

They were both made for two different swaps, and now that my partners have received I thought I would post them up. They both have a clear vinyl pocket on the front.

The first one is a kimono themed zipper pouch:

and my favorite part, the lining:

The next is a blue dotty theme, since my partner said she liked blue and dots!:

and the pretty lining:

Grin Yay! KittenWrangler I'm glad you liked it! Can you believe that is the first zipper pouch I've ever made?! Not to mention the first time I've ever put in a zipper! I surprised myself!

I also have to show off the lining, it's too cute, I'm going to make one for me!

5  Re: Spoil my Doll Swap Sign-ups 6-10 thru 6-25 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by KungFuGirlfriend on: June 24, 2008 11:05:55 AM
Grin I was mostly kidding about the cupcakes...mostly  Wink I got that to make for a friends' dollies for her birthday, although there is plenty left if my partner likes. I did get some other nice patterns as well, I really want to go back for a few other things I liked, but I should probably wait until we get partners, and until Sunday at least. Jo-Ann has coupons starting then!

Oh! Crocheted cupcake hat you say! I've seen a few, I think they are adorable/hilarious! I have one crocheted hat for one of my girls it's so funny!

7  Re: Fairy tales, Folklore & Fairies gallery of gorgeousness! in The Swap Gallery by KungFuGirlfriend on: April 16, 2008 09:32:58 PM
Wow!! Such great swap packages!!

I finally have pics of what I received from Kiwi-Chickie!

Group shot:

Two cute paintings on teeny little canvases

A pretty handmade card, jolly gnome fellow, and an awesome candle that smells just like some incense I used to have!!

A lovely little handpainted box that contained two of the most gorgeous necklaces

And a closeup of the fairy pendant because it is so darn awesome!

And of course some extra pics for fun, here is the new Baby Jade plant I got today, I told little gnome fellow that it is his job to look after it.

Thanks so much again Kiwi-Chickie, I loved everything! Although I'm not too sure my Blythe feels the same way about mr. gnome! I think he wore out his welcome.

8  Spring Outfits and Bed for Blythe! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by KungFuGirlfriend on: April 08, 2008 03:50:57 PM
After I received my first Blythe I really got crafty again after a break. It is so much fun to make tiny little clothes for her! Here are some of the most recent things I've made, graciously modeled by my girl Maisy.

A winter hat set I made from super cute rainbow heart fleece. Features a hat, scarf, and little mittens!

This is the first thing I made for her. A vest, skirt, and little gold key necklace.

Next is a cute blue dotty tea length strapless dress.

Babydoll dress, so cute!

Cute little sockies

And two tube tops w/ cute little honey bee necklaces

Phew! That's it for the clothes, but I also re-vamped a boyd's bear bed for her too. It was originally hunter green, so I spray painted it white and made the little mattress!

Sorry this was such a big post! Hope you enjoy!

9  My first clutch/bag, vinyl mock-up in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by KungFuGirlfriend on: November 04, 2007 04:47:57 PM
I found this huge piece of white vinyl at Joanne the other day for 2 bone, and decided to try a clutch mock-up.

I've never sewn vinyl or made any type of bag or clutch before, so this was a learning experience.

This clutch is pretty rough, I'm happy with how it turned out, but I don't really like it.

There are a few mistakes which I will know how to fix next time, but the white just isn't me.

I saw some great patent leather looking vinyl at wal-mart that I will be picking up to remake this clutch, I think it would be cuter for fall Smiley

This thing holds so much stuff, it would make a great carry-in bag for work or a great makeup bag.

10  Trying my hand at jewelry in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by KungFuGirlfriend on: September 30, 2007 05:20:28 PM
I usually stick to making clothes, but after being busy with work and school I've really just wanted some instant craft gratification. So, I've started making some jewelry I've never made any before. I'd love some opinions.

The necklace is pretty long, it hangs to about between my boobies, and it has a larger set of sage colored faux pearls higher up the chain. This was just the best shot to show the detail.

These are just some simple dangles, I'm getting married in June so I'm obsessed with everything white and dainty right now.
I'll try to get some better photos up tomorrow when there is light in my craft room.
