51  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / sewing corners on: March 23, 2007 07:23:56 AM
ok, either I'm retarded or this had to have been posted elsewhere & I just couldn't find it. How do you sew corners. I make sure the needle is in the fabric, raise the presser foot and turn the fabric but the thread pulls and my corners are always rounded. Is there some way to make a crisp 90 degree corner?

56  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Organizer Question RE newbies on: February 12, 2007 07:14:54 AM
I'm considering organizing my first swap and am concerned about newbies flaking. Do we have to allow newbies in our swap?
Are everyone's experiences generally good with newbies?

58  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / no sew tshirt recon on: May 05, 2006 08:07:47 AM
hey -
i made this last night from a XL men's tshirt. unfortunately i didn't take a pic of it beforehand. first i removed some of the length, the sleeves and collar. it had a stain on the front so i reversed it and used that for the back so when i opened it up with the slashes the stained part was removed. do you like it?
sorry about the horrible picture quality.
