You done a great job. Very cute. I love the name Shade. How did they come up with that, if you know? Sure, he may get picked on but everyone gets picked on for something!
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Need help sealing acrylic paint... on: August 26, 2009 11:45:55 AM
I been painting different materials with Elmer's Painters. After a lot of research, I discovered they are just filled with acrylic paint, so craft paint. I had drawn on assorted plastics with these pens and want to seal them. My question is, what do I use? Clear spray paint just eats the craft paint up. I dont know if regular glue would work since glue would become tacky when it gets wet, right?

If any of you use these pens, they unscrew so you can refill them with paint! No more spending $10+ on a set of 5.

I finished my necklaces with E6000. It worked out great for what I needed it to. Thank you for your response. I have posted in the resin sticky post but havent really got good feedback in there.
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Quetion regarding felt on back of resin... on: April 04, 2009 08:28:31 PM
My resin pieces are currently in the curing stage. In the past, I have glue a piece of felt to the back of my pendants. I slathered on super glue and adhered a piece of felt. When it dried, it was really weird looking... very bubbly looking. It is hard to explain but just imagine glued fiberous felt lol.

I have some E6000 now. Do you think it would be more successful with felt then the super glue? Does anyone else use felt backing?
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Not sure where this goes.... jewelry bag opinions please! on: April 04, 2009 05:54:00 AM
I think Organza bags would be your best bet. I recently received some bails from ebay and they had them in a pink organza bag that had gold foil hearts. It was adorable. There are a ton of patterns too.
