1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Has anyone painted laminate cupboards? on: December 28, 2006 10:37:55 PM
I want to paint my bathroom cabinet but, the doors are wood and the sides are laminate. What will stick to it with out coming off in a month or two? Melmine seems like the best bet but, is it OK to use in a bathroom? (moisture wise) Thanks. If anyone has done this, could you maybe post some pics?

I saw something today that I'd like to know how to make. It was called a depression doll. She was made out of tea stained rags and it was a reproduction. Any info would be appreciated. I've sifted through here a bit but nothing! And, the search feature is not working for me. Thanks.

9  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Glass Windchime/Suncatcher on: May 23, 2006 09:01:28 PM
O.k. here goes. I found these cool glass stones and I had to buy them. I didn't know what I'd make with them but, after some thought this is what I came up with! I hope you like it cause I sure do!!! (uploading and posting the pictures of it was harder than making it!)

This is what I started with. I'd recommend stronger wire. This was cheap and flimsy!

And this is what I ended up with.

I think this will stay inside suctioned to a window as the stones break easily in a strong breeze. They do sound pretty in a small breeze though!!!
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / How Can I Make A Spring Pole For My Energetic Pitbull??? EDIT on: May 11, 2006 12:35:33 AM
Does any one out there have the particulars to make a spring pole for my Pitty? I don't want to spend a lot of money but it HAS to be safe! Thanks!!!

EDIT* Maybe it's called something different, but it's a pole with a rubber tire on the end for a dog to grab onto. They like to swing from them!!!  Anyone?HuhHuh* EDIT
