2  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / New to needlefelting with a question on: July 23, 2006 06:29:50 PM
I recently won a kit on ebay that came with 15 colors and 4 needles. I cant seem to find a website that would tell me what the different needle sizes do. In the kit there was a "coarse needle" a"fine needle" a "medium needle" and a "star needle". Could you tell me what these needles would be for. are they for different fibers? do they felt differently? Im assuming yes but I wondered how exactly. I did buy a needle felt book but its in Japanese so it was more an inspirational purchase then an informational one Tongue

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / PLease Help me :( on: March 05, 2005 07:47:56 AM
Im desperately trying to figure out this pattern http://www.angelfire.com/va3/heartfeltangels/littlestarafghan.html I can do the first 2 rounds fine but when I start the third round , I dont know where to start. Where am I sheeling? In the ch2 space? but then Im skipping a bunch of stitches to get there Sad Maybe I mess up on the end of round 2 as to where to ss to join, which 3rd chain from the beginning? Would that be on the shell?
If I ignore the first part and just shell in all the ch2 spaces it looks almost like the picture except for the first point. Its the begining of every round thats really stumping me.

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / ISO baby afghan pattern on: February 26, 2005 11:49:23 AM
My cousin is having twins and I wanted to make them 2 little blankets. The little star afghan looks perfect for the boy, but for the girl I wanted to make a flower afghan. Not a flower motif one but one in the shape of a flower. Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for that? Thanks for your help Smiley
