OMG these are awesome.

The one with David Tennant made my knees a bit weak because of his cute smile and I can totally hear his voice in my head saying "Brilliant!"

The Dalek pun is unparalleled :-D

OMG I was just asking my bf if he wanted to watch Dr. Who. He was like, not now. So then I decided to go on Craftster.

I dig it. I dig it good. Well done. Or, as the Doctor would say, "Fantastic!!"

I didn't read through all the comments, so I don't know if it has been mentioned, but it reminds of the cover of Cocorosie's Noah's Ark album:

I'm sure it was totally unintentional and yours is a little more "R" rated. Smiley

LOL! I LOVE this! I've never seen it before but I adore it, especially that the "bottom" is puking a rainbow.

In case you were curious, I was originally inspired by a Threadless tee design.

OK- He LOVED it!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to catch him as he came in the door, but I came down shortly after and he was laughing his head off. I had put a note on his bed that said "Relax, Baby, it's washable finger paint!" but I was still worried he'd freak. I needn't have worried; he actually intends to KEEP it there for a while.

I asked him what he's gonna do if he brings any ladies home, and he says if they can't appreciate the uni-porn, they get the boot! :-)

Hee hee hee...

My housemate went away for the weekend, and my friends and I decided to play a little joke on him...

We've talked seriously and very un-seriously before about what I should paint on his wall. This is sorta a gross version of some of the un-serious things we said I should paint.

I used washable finger paints. I tested on part of the wall, let it dry, and it wiped off quite easily with a sponge!

Here are some in-progress shots and the final result, which took about 1hr-1hr15min to complete:

Sorry for the poor lighting; my friend could use some more lamps!

Hope this made you smile :-)

PS My friend is due home in like an hour. We're thinking of camping out int he halway and playing "Dreamweaver" when he comes home, just to set the mood for sparkly unicorn sex!

OK so I totally just got done painting the unicorns having sex. Buahahaha! It turned out pretty awesome. I'll post pics once my camera charges up.
50  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Bjork, Ned Flanders, and Poison Ivy costumes on: May 04, 2009 09:24:44 AM
For Halloween, I made my own costume (Poison Ivy!) and I also did a costume for my friend, who went as Bjork. My boyfriend went as Ned Flanders :-)

Even though I liked my costume a lot, my friend's Bjork costume was definitely the hit of the evening. He ended up winning Funniest Costume at a bar contest. I won Sexiest! Sadly I dont have any good pics of my final costume, but Ive got plenty of my friend.

First, we bought a handmade tutu from someone on Ebay. I could have made one easily by taking strips of tulle and knotting them around a braided ribbon, but I dont have a good fabric store nearby and I was running low on time.

Next, I took a pair of white tights and stuffed one of the legs with craft filling and cut off the other. Then I sewed black beads on for eyes. I made a beak with a sheet of orange felt and attached it to the end of the tight leg to finish the head.

I cut a triangle of fabric off of a white tshirt to make the body of the swan. Then, I took a white boa and covered the white triangle. I just used large whipstitches so it didnt take much time at all. I then safety-pinned the body to the skirt.

Here is a final (and deeply disturbing) shot. We topped it off with makeup and a black wig. The socks were his idea. Honestly, I am glad he elected not to shave. I think it adds to the effect.

Hope you enjoy!
