1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Spider Tulle Skirt for Tatiana on: January 15, 2007 03:02:27 PM
I made this skirt for Tatiana, my 11 year old sister, for Xmas. It was real easy, I just sewed on the frill at the top, the tulle underneath and appliqud the spider on (that bit was a little harder because the tulle kept ripping)

Pics Ya'll

And heres a picture of Tink (thats what we call her) next to my 5year old cousin. Tatiana's so tiny! The original skirt I used to make the base of this skirt came from the little kids section, aged 5years!!! hahaha, oh dear, we're a pack of midgets.

We're half Russian, half Chinese. Dude, biggest continent, most of that ethnicity in the world? Our kind are taking over... Tongue

2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Grey and Red apron/skirt/flower errrrrgghhh on: November 15, 2006 06:11:30 PM

So I made this just then. Its a skirt with a fake apron thing attached. I had that red material lying about and I really hate it, it was like... $1.30 a metre from spotlight so I bought a metre just in case. And then when I got home decided I hated it. So just for the record the "apron part of this apron skirt is less then a metre of material. The grey stuff I had lying about the place. Hope you like (i dont think it makes much difference, its still freakin ugly material Undecided)
Comment comments bla bla bla. Click the picture if it comes up kinda pixelated. ummmmm the flower part is a brooch (15c yessss!!:))
OOoooooo and check out my AWESMATIC sequin flats!! They cost
me $15 (NZ)  Grin

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / My take on the Record bag on: July 05, 2006 11:24:39 PM

8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / A question, I need help. on: June 30, 2006 02:33:21 AM
Theres a tshirt dress I really want from this shop here in Dunedin and its soooo amazing. Its red and white striped with a white colar and an iron-on type thing of these really mutated looking barbies smoking and swearing and doing all sorts of fun things  Tongue its a really incredible dress but theres two thing kinda nyah about it:

1) its nz$70, which may not seem like much but im 16 and come from a big family, single mum and I have to pay for everything right down to my school uniform, so I can only afford it if I save

2) It is very very very unflattering to my shape (which is rather pear shaped, huge behind and skinny tummy)

So I was wondering: How hard would it be if I bought the fantasmagoricak dress to take it in and give it a waistline etc, would it look effed up? Because thats an expensive botch up but I do love this dress.

Dress looks like that shape-wise but thats really the only similarity Cheesy
