1 CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: colorful granny square throw on: May 26, 2009 11:35:22 PM
This is gorgeous! My family has quite a few granny square afghans lying around, but they're all very 70s looking. This has a great retro feel, but it's so fresh and modern! It reminds me of Ann's on "Parks and Recreation". I've wanted to make one of these for a while, but I didn't want it to look old in my oh-so-swanky college apartment Roll Eyes and I was totally intimidated by sewing and weaving in ends. I can't wait to try the "join as you go" and finally make my own!
2 NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia a la Sweet Dee on: February 27, 2009 12:43:02 PM
Love it! It's Always Sunny is SUCH a good show...and this quote is priceless. Nice job!
3 HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Record Wine Rack on: February 02, 2009 12:51:31 PM
I was just saying last night that I needed a cute, creative wine rack for my newly rearranged apartment. This is perfect!! Now I just have to go find some records...

4 CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Cable Hat Crochet-a-long on: January 13, 2009 01:20:28 PM
I've made a few of these and was about to start another...might as well join the CAL!

One thing I've noticed with these is that they sometimes look huge, but end up fine after you do the ribbed edge. It kind of sucks in the brim so it looks less like a helmet and fits your head more closely. I have a small-ish head and this hat always fits me when I make it with a J hook. Hope that helps...
5 KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Sparkly Pom-Pom Scarf on: October 16, 2008 12:41:47 AM
I'm not sure and I could be wrong, but I think knitters often put some kind of border on things to help with the curling. You might want to try looking it up...

On another note, that scarf is absolutely gorgeous! Did you make the pattern up? Would you mind sharing it or telling us where you found it?
6 Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Halloween costume ideas for 2008 on: September 24, 2008 10:53:25 PM
Lindsay Lohan is a fun one to dress up as...and now you can bring Samantha Ronson along too! Just wear a baggy t-shirt and a fedora for Samantha and for Lindsay...just look like a train wreck.
7 CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Free Form CAL - All instructions now on Pg1 on: June 23, 2008 01:48:59 PM
Oh I'm SO playing catch-up on this as soon as I get home from work! I've always wanted to do a CAL, but was always intimidated. I really like the idea of only doing a little bit every day though!
8 CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: checkered hat on: June 13, 2008 11:43:57 AM
I LOVE this! Did you use a pattern or make it up yourself?
9 CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Bunny Slippers in Grey on: April 08, 2008 11:09:35 AM
I love these!! Is the pattern online? I really want to make some!
10 IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: I Heart Freezer Paper!! on: March 18, 2008 03:35:05 PM
I definitely need a Hedwig shirt...I'm a little obsessed. I always wished I could get the foam hair and be a Hed-Head and follow her tour around all of the Bilgewater restaurants...

The shirts look awesome!
