my daughters friend loves the harry potter series i decided to make the book of monsters its about 2 x 3 inches or so big.  i also made shrinky dink charms for zipper pulls.
the book of monsters has 20 pages which were glued then handsewn then the fur was glued then machine sewn i glued in a suede red tongue/bookmark and a snap to close the mouth the teeth were shaped using sculpey baking clay and painted with acrylic paints.  im sorry about the photo it was rather muggy outside the eye is green Smiley
i also found the owl on clearance from $12.99 to $1 which was a success!
click thumbnails and it will enlarge Smiley

10  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Delirium youngest of the endless on: October 08, 2007 05:43:36 PM

delirium  is my favorite charchater of all in the sandman series by neil gaiman and this artist tokoyo_nyo on deviantart nailed delirium to the T

i made delirium where she was either art or safe for a baby to play with. her earring is a screw on and can be removed the wire slips on and off and the safety pin can also be removed.
her fishnet body stocking (actually spiderweb lace that i stretched and sewn can be removed) as can her skirt with a 3 leaf clover patch her hair is wool mohair and a bit of acrylic with sparkles and she is oh so huggable Cheesy
http://flickr.com/photos/66251421@N00/ <--more photos of delirium and our two year old son in the garden,  delirium is washable but being the carefree chick she is she doesnt care as she is busy looking for her doggy Cheesy
