I have gotten Montag the Phoenix! He is 150 Years old and on his 17th Generation. So he is just a wee baby! He knows Fawkes! And his job is to keep certain books protected! Currently he is guarding the Special Edition of Monster Books of Monsters, The Egyption Book of the Dead, And the Phoenix Book Of Genealogical History. Thank you so much artoo1121! I am so in love!! Ok here are the pictures!! Sorry if there is so many but this is so awesome!!! Thank you again!!

63  Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery - August 2007 in The Swap Gallery by annamhudson on: August 06, 2007 09:47:48 AM
OK Me and Kishcrafts decided to do a personal swap! I was drooling over her tedious bottle cap jewelry! It is so amazing. So I offered to make something. She liked these smashed kitty coasters. So I decided to try to make them. BTW I am not an experienced crocheter. So it was a little difficult trying to figuring out a pattern cause I am too cheap to buy one. Here is the original one she wanted!

So here are my cat coasters!

Hope you all enjoy my first crocheted item without a pattern!!

64  Re: Looking for a rare fabric in Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions by annamhudson on: August 04, 2007 03:32:07 PM
I do have butt loads of that fabric but it isn't a vinyl type. It is more of a swimsuit type of fabric. If you are interested let me know. WE might be able to do a swap or something. I got it at a costume shop that was closing like 10 years ago, but I never made what I wanted. By the way I live in the US.
here is a pic of if

Sorry about the pic, it is in my garage and I am organizing my craft stuff!
That is both sides of it!

68  Quilt top Fence rail pattern in Quilting: Completed Projects by annamhudson on: July 27, 2007 05:10:52 PM
OK I am not sure if this the right place. I am finishing all my projects and this is one that I have nevered wanted to finish. I totally hate it. It was one of my first quilts that I made. And my tastes have change since I made it. It is just the top. I never wanted to quilt it. Sorry Mods if this is in the wrong place. So if you are serious, pm and I can give you sizes. Let me know what you would like to SWAP for it. Sorry no money swap either....lol. It is just something that I would love to give to a good home. If you are a professional machine quilter let me know. I have a quilt that needs to be quilted and would be willing to trade for that. I must see your previous work though! Otherwise let me know what you have to swap!
The main reason I don't like this is the last border. It reminds me of a circus tent! hope that doesn't ruin it for you. I even asked my mom if she would want it and she said no!....lol OK on to the pics!

Here is my paper pieced leaf quilt. I did it for a challenge for a quilt club i was in, but then I moved away. I want to have it machined quilt with a leaf pattern. But who knows when that will happen. Ok on with the quilt:

I love the border fabric on this!!

Any comments are great!!! I would love to be a hot topic  Wink Wink Grin

Sorry I was out today. I couldn't wait to post pics. But I wanted my partner to be surprised. I had a hard time taking pics. It was horrible I think i took like a million of them and they weren't working for me.

It is a lariat necklace. Sorry about spelling. She said she was interested in that. So I made it with seed beads, pearls, crystals, and rose quartz chips all in black and pink. And it has charms on the bottom with some stones I got at a gem show that I can't remember the name. Those gem shows are dangerous. So many sparkly things and can't decide what to get!!! I need to use some stuff up  Wink I am glad you like! Sorry for the pics! Gosh I didn't realize how bad they were!
