9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Circular Shrug / Vest - Scale Model - TUTORIAL on: September 22, 2005 10:55:01 PM
Hi all! I normally just lurk here, but I thought I'd post my results for anyone interested in seeing how this looks with sleeves -- I picked up stitches around the armholes and knit the sleeves downward in the round, decreasing to keep them fitted.  There's a little bit of gathering around the armpits, but it's really barely noticeable.  Also, I had exactly 3 balls of Cotton-Ease, and used all but a yard or two to end up at elbow-length as shown.

It turned out a bit tight because I was too lazy to swatch beforehand, but otherwise I'm really pleased.  Thanks to everyone working on the pattern -- the results all look great!

That's really nice chiaobella . Great job! Now i'm considering to make a second shrug with sleeve.

hey girls,

Here's my version. What do y'all think? I feel like it is a bit small. Should have work on a few more rows on those mock ribs.
