Thank you both! It's almost done, I did the other panels with black fabric and now I'm trying to add some ruffles or lace or something at the hem, I'll post a picture when I'm done. yay!

I wonder why that link isn't working. I tried it again.

So maybe I need to use panels of plain material and cut one panel from batman? It's a 35x46 piece of fabric and it says batman at the top and has a big big image of him. So the part that says batman is about 8 inches by 35 inches, is there anyway to make that into the waistband or something so I can use that whole part too? it's not big enough to comprise a panel. The fabric is just cotton, not stretchy. I thought this would be easy - ha.

Okay, I have this:
And I want to make something like:

When I try to follow the tutorial for circle skirt, I'm going to cut my circle right through his head. i dont want to do that... I'd like for Batman to be on my Batman skirt... What do I do? It can be different from the one pictured, I just want to make it into a cute skirt that you can see him on. Thanks! I'm new to sewing.

i love it, sk8grll! it looks great with the pink eyebrows, cute.

pinks were always my favorite colors to do. i have flamingo pink waiting for the end of the term - i am teaching a college class this term and i'm so over my boring brown hair! I can't wait!!

20  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / MTG Side Table on: August 11, 2007 12:33:41 PM
We needed a side table in our new living room, so I bought this at a second hand store:

Some paint, contact paper and common cards later:

*In the top cubbie of the table, there's the multi-deck case I reconstructed, will hold six decks and my counters/dice.

Thanks for looking!
