1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / PJ Pants! on: September 07, 2015 10:16:42 AM
Hey all! It's been a while!
I quit craft blogging, but I finished some stuff and felt like sharing.

The thrift store down the street from me has fabric! One day when I was in there, I picked up this cute green cotton print, and a purple and white stripe (that became a robe that I haven't taken pictures of yet because I'm not sure I'm done with it).

(dammit, rotated image...sorry.  Tongue )

This was the pants pattern portion from New Look 6928. I added length (because I hate short pants unless they're tight).

First time doing a buttonhole type opening for the ribbon, too. I think it came out ok.

I really really like this! I like the fabric choice AND that you got the pattern to match up with the pockets and the body.  Good job!

Awesome. Definitely like the definition by the pleating at the bust.

Oooh, good idea!  Is it a wrap or do you have it sewn all in one piece?

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: A plethora of tutu's and cutie tops and leg warmers! (intense amount of pics) on: May 21, 2009 06:21:54 PM
UBER cute.  It makes me want tutus, even though there's no where for me to wear them!

And as a side note, that kitty umbrella may very well be the most awesomest umbrella I've seen for quite a while.

thanks guys!

juneapostrophe  - I bought 3 1/2 yards, used all but about a foot of it.  The only reason I got so much was because I wanted it longer, and didn't find one I liked that was wide enough to get the whole thing out of it.  So I had to do two halves and sew them together.  If I had made it shorter, I probably could have made do with 1 3/4 yards.

I made a skirt!

Just a basic circle skirt, and I got to use my new serger, AND my new twin needle for my regular machine.  That makes me oddly giddy.  I guess that means I'm a sewing nerd?

I put a zipper and hook and eye on it...

Does anyone have ANY tips on making putting in a zipper less of a pain in the ass?

I honestly don't remember if I've posted this already or not...I'm betting not because I've been away from Craftster for a while.
