Hi Everyone,

In the meantime, I have been eyeing this

Has anyone tried it? Anyone recommend it?
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / HELP! Lost pattern/picture, Mushroom + pals on: February 24, 2007 12:55:35 PM
I've spent days looking up amigurumi patterns, and the one that sticks in my mind is the one I DIDN'T bookmark.

So guys, I'm asking for your help before I go crazy looking for it.

It was one of those flip top mushrooms (in the picture it's red with white spots) and it has instructions for three little animals that can go inside.

I know FOR SURE that one is a mouse. The other two I'm not sure, but  I'm thinking one was a hedgehog.

Please if you know where this pattern is please let me know.

I've seen several like it in my crazy searching, but none that have the three little pals.

Hoping to hear from a hero........

3  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / Challenges? on: October 19, 2006 05:38:21 PM
When  will the new challenge start? I thought they were monthly?

Sorry for asking, but I don't see anything about this in board information...
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / I'm having so much trouble!! :'( on: October 01, 2006 05:23:08 PM
I've spent all weekend not doing my homework and trying to teach my self to crochet. I've been looking at all those super cute amigurumi with hopes to have at least a tiny start on one by tonight...

so far (with a lot of effort) I can do a chain, and what I *think* is a single crochet stitch (but it's probably wrong).  Undecided Cry

Any other beginners here? Anyone who started crocheting recently and is now a master? Any tips would help... and some encouragement wouldn't go astray  Wink.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Shell Broaches and Barrettes (Lots of Pics) on: May 04, 2006 09:55:13 AM
This is the first completed project I've posted Smiley. I hope I'll get lots of advice on how to improve - I hope to make these to sell.

I made the flowers out of cay-cay shells, the middle is an arc shell, and the centres are umbonium shells. the coloured ones were either bought dyed or I dyed them. The backs are covered in felt to hide the glue.

Pink barrette front:

I have more, and some made with different shells, but my camera died! Tell me what you think!
6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Any experience with "Youth Ventures" on: April 23, 2006 03:10:17 PM
Has anyone here been involved with "Youth Ventures" in Newfoundland? Their website is: http://www.youthventuresnl.com/

I'm hoping they will help me sort out all the tax confusion that I'm having with starting a business, but I don't want them (or well, the government) to get too involved in what I want to do.

Any experiences, information or tips would be appreciated Smiley.
