1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Useful Crochet on: April 20, 2008 07:20:37 AM
A couple of things I really needed,
A shopping bag that tucks into itself -

When packed -

A earring holder -

A close-up -
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Something that might interest crocheters from India on: September 19, 2007 11:43:57 PM
A crocheted sari blouse - since this is a garment that has to fit snugly, and since thread is an inelastic fibre, it took a lot of experimentation to get this to work.

3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / String shopping bag on: August 12, 2007 03:08:40 AM
There was a pattern for a mesh bag which squashed up small, but expanded to hold an astonishing amount of shopping. The designer had posted it on her blog/website, and I had saved it, but my son crashed the hard disc recently and I lost scores of patterns, all sorted into categories. Does anyone know the pattern I mean? I would be so grateful for some help in finding it.
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A bag and a pouch on: June 28, 2007 08:03:57 AM
This is a cell phone poch as well as a coin purse.

(The pattern is from crochetville.)
And an evening bag.

I made both as gifts.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / bead crochet rope necklaces on: March 22, 2007 05:23:45 AM
The "strings" of these necklaces are all bead crochet ropes .
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / blue hexagon afghan on: February 19, 2007 10:01:09 PM
This afghan felt so soft and comfortable while I was making it, that I started using it,  without even finishing it off with an edging.
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / shaded round ripple on: February 04, 2007 12:20:28 AM
This is made of thread, two strands held together, with shaded colour changes.
8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / bead jewellery set on: February 04, 2007 12:08:09 AM
I made this set as a gift, using pottery beads for the earrings, and a crocheted rope for the necklace.
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / sampler afghan on: December 21, 2006 01:35:43 PM
This afghan was great fun to make, but a real pain to photograph

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / my version of the fat bottom bag on: December 13, 2006 11:54:08 AM
I am not putting this in the Happy Hooker section because that book is not available here and I have not had the opportunity to read it. Whenever I saw a post of the fat bottom bag, I really wanted to make it, and, after seeing all the pictures and reading all the comments about it that I could find, I finally managed to make my own version
