1  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: From Houndstooth to Hello Kitty! Black Flats Recon! on: October 04, 2007 07:48:43 PM
I love hello kitty, but I also love hounds tooth.  Its still a pretty cute recon
Thanks! Yep the houndstooth was pretty cool but I'd had them for awhile and i needed something new Smiley

OK, please dish as to HOW you did those - my daughters would LOVE Helly Kitty shoes!!
They were really easy, I just painted the shoes black with acrylic paint then mod podged cut out hello kitty fabric onto it and sealed the whole thing. But I guess you could just paint on the kittys if you wanted? I'm not so good at painting so pasting fabric was easier!

7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: 15 and Wanting to Start a Business on: April 04, 2007 02:30:13 AM
Wow cutxpaste takes 40%? And I was complaining about the 25% I have to pay for consigment, which now I realise isn't actually that much. It would be pretty cool to sell on their site though.
I do like the collective site idea also. It would be pretty complicated to set up a whole shopping mall, but maybe just a page listing and linking to all our existing websites and etsys with a short discription of the young designer. We could all pitch in to advertise the one site instead of all our own separately, which would gain a bigger market and help each other.
Oh and still no sales from my online shop, I just don't know how to advertise! Any suggestions?
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Can I get opinons please! Which is better? on: March 14, 2007 09:38:12 PM
I like it as a dress! At the length its at in the dress photo it would look pretty cool with leggings or jeans underneath aswell for multiple different looks! Very pretty Grin
