1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Embroidered Owl Clutch on: August 29, 2008 01:26:29 AM
I made this for my friend for her birthday, I hope she finds some sort of use for it!  I used the awesome tutorial for making a lined zippered pouch by e.r.i.k.a (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0), and just added a strap to the side to make it a clutch.  A strangely square clutch, but i nevermind that.

2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Thank you Batman, for being so stencil-friendly! on: July 19, 2008 08:35:58 PM
So yesterday afternoon I woke up and thought, "Hooray, I'm seeing The Dark Knight tonight!"  (yeah, I couldn't make the midnight showing.....*sad*).  Immediately after that thought came realization: "I have nothing Batman-related to wear.  CRAP."

Seeing as I didn't have the money to buy a new shirt and I didn't have time to do anything elaborate, I just grabbed an old black tanktop and stenciled the batman logo on it.  luckily the new bat symbol is a cinch to draw and cut out on account of all the straight lines.

action shot!  (i'm amazed it came out this well.  usually i don't wait long enough to peel off the freezer paper and everything smears)

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / "No" Llama bag on: September 11, 2007 12:34:35 PM
Not to be confused with a "No Llama" bag, because that would be blatant anti-llama propaganda and I do not stand for such things.

This measurements for this tote were horrible.....I made it too skinny and too long, and the strap is too short.  Trying to reach in and grab stuff while I'm carrying it on my shoulder is quite an ordeal.  Ah well, next time I'll do better.....
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Frilly Skulls- Gothic Lolita Headband on: August 19, 2007 01:36:18 AM
Bat's day is today, and seeing as it's supposed to be over 94 degrees out (apparently God hates goths), I decided to go for a headband instead of a top hat to complete my outfit.  I made the skulls out of polymer clay, and the headband is just some leftover black velvet with  lace and bias tape sewn onto it.

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Dalmation wallet and/or mirror pouch on: August 05, 2007 02:25:13 AM
I saw CheyElizabeth's awesome tutorial on easy snap wallets and decided to make one for my friend for her birthday.

I also made her an etched mirror so the wallet could double as a mirror pouch:

Random Fact: I have no idea how to properly install a snap button, so projects that involve them usually end in sore teeth
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Green Plaid Bread Bag! Yum. on: July 01, 2007 02:41:07 AM
Don't ask me what the picture means, it was just a random doodle pulled from the depths of my demented mind.  All I know is that the bread is going *points* thattaway!

action shot (ignore the toilet and my horrifically mismatched PJs):

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / TREE! on: July 20, 2006 02:08:51 PM
i love trees and i love making bags, so naturally this was born:

(note my dog in the background glaring evily at the bag)

i made it for my friend's birthday, but i was sorely tempted to keep it for myself.  i've been meaning to make another bag like it, but i'm so lazy......
8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Cute little dead girl messenger bag purse on: June 17, 2006 02:42:10 PM
And by "cute little dead girl," i of course mean Lenore.

i used Avery's dark t-shirt transfer for the images, but for some reason the striped cloth bled through the white parts.  blah.

the inside (i accidentally put the pocket on the wrong side.  i is a GENIUS)

9  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / because i love Mal, and i'm an incurable nerd on: April 20, 2006 06:34:42 PM

the worlds of sci-fi and poetry meet, at last!

all hail the creative versa-tool, even if it burned the shirt a bit.
