3  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Keyword help on: January 09, 2007 12:46:59 PM
Thanks, that was kind of what I was thinking but I wanted to make sure. I had no idea about "keyword stacking", I know I need to rewrite everything (coz I'm not using keywords in my text)  guess I should stop putting it off...
4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Keyword help on: January 08, 2007 05:03:24 PM
Ok...so this may be a dumb question, but I just don't get it. Should I be using the same keywords on all my pages or keywords to match specific what is on the page?
5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: January goals? on: January 06, 2007 08:09:27 PM
My goals are
-to list 3 times a week
-make 5 sales
-work on promoting
-look into some paid advertisement
-keep my blog updated (post 2 or 3 times a week)
-get more sign ups for my newsletter

This is the first "goals" thread I've posted in...I'm hoping it will keep me sort of on track...Knowing I've public stated my goals might make me work harder to achieve them.

mod podge might work as a sealer for those.
7  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Website vs. Etsy Shop on: November 12, 2006 08:32:07 PM
I have a website that directs sales to etsy. What I like about the website is that I can see where people are coming from so I know which promotional efforts are working. It is also kinda fun for me, becuase I have no clue what I'm doing with the website and I just learn as I go.  I love the community that etsy has. And like fizer said I like etsy because I don't have to deal with a shopping cart or anything. So far I don't think any of my sales have came from my website, but I haven't been promoting yet really. Sorry I really didn't answer your question, lol.
8  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: Nervous...is etsy a good start? on: September 28, 2006 07:53:53 PM
i agree etsy is a good place to start. I don't what kind of experience you have, but I just started selling in June. Etsy is the first place I've sold. Just from the forums there I've learned so much about the business aspect and how to promote. My sales have be slow but they seem to be picking up. Either way there aren't any hidden charges, they are real up front... currently .10 to list for 6 months and 3.5% commission on sales, but I believe it is changing when they release version 2.

Those are beautiful, I love them. You are really talented. I have so appreciation for wire wrap, it takes a lot of skill. And I love your bead choices!
