Alrighty! Sorry this took so long! Here are the pics of Joolz's stuff!

Here's the whole bunch of it!
I really should have taken a pic of the towel rolled up like sushi...

Detail on the towel. Smiley

Glad you enjoyed!

Today was city-wide garage sale day!
(It's a bi-annual event where half the folks in town hold garage sales, and the other half go to them)

I totally scored. I got a big popcorn tin full of muslin for 50 cents. It's in all sorts of shapes and sizes... I can't wait to dig in...

(Those folded pieces are about 36'x46'. Not bad.)

Yay! Got mine!  Grin I so LOVE everything!

Here is everything together! I received an awesome (and big, yay!) pink purse, an embroidered black t-shirt, black panta, photo album, sweet pouch with Bloo, puppy coloring book, bassett callendar and magnet, puppy bone magnets, and cookies for my Sammy!

Close up of sweet embroidery!

The Bloo pouch is sooo my favorite thing! I love it!

Panta = happy.  Grin

Thanks so much mserocks! I love it all! Smiley I hope you like yours just as much! I feel bad now that my groove was thrown off by the move. Sad

7  Dragon / Sea Monster Cross Stich Pillow in Needlework: Completed Projects by Nanashi04 on: June 26, 2006 12:57:08 PM
Haha! It's finnally done!  Grin
I'm really proud of this one... it actually turned out to be something! It isn't a very big pillow, but it's a neat little decoration.

(You can't see it very well, but there are little red beeds in the middle of each of the x-lookin' things on the borders)

The back is some embossed felt I found... Thought it fit perfectly. Smiley The dragon is mostly based off this pattern, but it's not exact. http://crochet.about.com/library/bldragon5.htm
(it's a filet crochet chart, but the filet was annoying me, so I did this instead)

8  Score! Look at the yarn I got! in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by Nanashi04 on: June 05, 2006 12:58:46 PM
My ebay yarn arrived today - ever prettier than I expected! ^^ It's silk, made in Napal from scraps of saris. It's simply gorgeous... and I've got six good sized balls of it.

Now I just need to think of what to do with it... I have a few ideas.  Grin

The color is really a lot better than these pics show... but I had to do my best without the sun. Sad
(t-storms all day today)

The last one is a little blurry, but you can see the colors a lot better.

I forgot to ask... the only downfall of this yarn is that it smells a little, um, funky. Any ideas for that?

9  First Ever! in Needlework: Completed Projects by Nanashi04 on: May 01, 2006 02:26:15 PM
Heheh! My boyfriend got me an embroidery kit for my birthday, because it's always been something I've wanted to try. So, today I set down my hook (I normally crochet) and gave it a whirl. Smiley

Ok, so it's not the prettiest ever, but I love it! I do believe I'm hooked on this.
I can't wait to do some more. Wink

10  Little Fit-To-Be-Tied. in Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller by Nanashi04 on: May 01, 2006 02:18:19 PM
You know, in 8-9 years of crochet, I've never actually finished anything. Tongue

So, here it is, my *finished* Fit-to-be-tied - in minature.
(It's about 7 inches wide and 4 tall)

My favorite part is the star ribbon... found at WalMart, no less. Smiley

I did it in some little-tiny red yarn I had from forever ago... I lost the label, so all I can tell you is that it's cotton. Tongue
I used an 'e' hook, and for the eyelet row, I used double instead of half-double, so I could use a bigger ribbon.

It works great for keeping all those loose hooks together. Smiley
