22  Pincushion :: Comfort food "Cheddar & Broccoli Soup" in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by PerachYafeh on: January 18, 2009 03:37:13 PM

This project was super fun do. I used left over red heart yarns and also left over cotton threads. The size of this picushion is more or less 1 1/2x 1 3/8in  (4 x3.5 cm). I used basic crochet stitches to create the oval shape of the plate and the soup casserole dish. I guess the trick is pay attention to the form as you crochet and no fancy stitches required. Just go merry in the round  Smiley . I hope you will like it

23  Petticoat Crinoline :: that is the question. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by PerachYafeh on: January 09, 2009 04:51:17 PM

I will spare you of the language used while, during many tries I might add, to deal with piles of crinoline. Everything seemed to be happening, the thread was braking, and the tension in the machine went berserk, the crinoline itself tear, G* knows how many times. See, now you probably start to understand why I had to put it down.  Now I had a UFO.Months passed.
Oh well, as you can see I am done. Phew.  I tamed the crinoline and finished my beloved petticoat! What a ride. It is a very simple one...a simple cicle skirt with a ruffle band. I hope you like it. I love it.

I used cotton. metallic and glow in the dark floss...more pic at my blog 9 do not want to overload here, since I am still fighting these pictures sizes).
Just by the way....love felines. I could spend hours observing their masterful souls Kiss.
