These are adorable! Could you tell me where you found the pattern?
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Mario Bros hat and scarf set! on: November 22, 2011 06:12:44 AM
This is wonderful. I'm a beginner knitter and can only dream of making something so rockin'. Good stuff Smiley
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Oh yeah! Luigi time! on: November 22, 2011 06:10:28 AM
Very cool!  Cheesy I would love to make things like this for my nieces and nephew...but I don't know if they'd really wear them! They love Mario, but I dunno Smiley Anyway, good job!
4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Geek In The Pink (Jason Mraz) Stenciled T-Shirt on: March 04, 2011 04:47:56 AM
Love it! Of course I'm apt to love any Jason Mraz reference...but this is very well done  Smiley

Hey, not to detract from the original posters position (best to your whole family, by the way!), I've been trying to think of something similar to send to my 10 year old nephew? Something easily mailed, as I live a little ways away these days.

On the original note, how's your father's outlook? Would jokes help? *eyes twinkle with wonderment, unsure if the joke in mind would be terribly insensitive* Maybe one of those funny day by day sort of calendars, and you could write in special notes before hand on the days he's in for treatment?

Pillow and blanket (especially if he has to travel to get there!) are definitely great. Maybe try and think of things he'd normally do, and find a way of making that thing portable? (those desk golf-putting thingies come to mind, for example).
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Shawl to skirt on: May 18, 2008 12:10:07 AM
Looks good! Don't worry about the baby weight, you look fine! Should try wearing a more flattering top though  Wink
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: purple skirt to sundress! on: March 29, 2008 12:23:34 PM
Way pretty. I bought a dress that looks EXACTLY like this last week. No lie. Exactly. Wow. Pro job! Really looks great.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Girl jeans capri pants on: March 29, 2008 09:05:49 AM
Way cute. You'll have to post an "action shot" so we can see how they fit. They look great flat, though.
9  COOKING / Dessert / Re: 5-ingredient strawberry cheesecake pie on: August 09, 2007 07:08:17 AM
I'll bet it's delicious! I use the same recipe---only 8 oz of sour cream and a bit of vanilla extract go into mine as well (I've been meaning to try different extracts or incorporating chocolate somehow but everyone loves the original so much nobody wants to let me experiment!) I think my family got the recipe on a Keebler crust I mean, err, it's a secret family recipe  Wink Err, not so secret now...ahem...rambling, rambling...

Layering the strawberries right in is a great idea! I love being sneaky with fruit, and nobody will know until it's too deliciously late, mwahahaha...
10  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Kimono Bead on: July 06, 2007 12:31:50 AM
Wow, beautiful...from this view, the swirlies look like fish to me! (Hmm, what would Freud say? Perhaps it's the oriental influence turning my mind that way, or does someone else see it?) Anyway, great job!
